Hey @instructure, are there plans to resume releasing the source code for @Canvas_by_Inst or is the plan to stop being open source going forward?
Just came here to say sorry everybody. I remember throwing in some rudimentary XSS tests with the expectation of adding more later, but it looks like maybe that never happened. #CanvasHack #MoveFastandBreakThings
Happy Birthday @Instructure! 17 years and 68,636 commits later @Canvas_by_Inst is still open source! I never expected it to get this big or last this long as my first professional coding project... They've clean out all my bugs by now, right?
The initial commit (github.com/instructure/canva…) had the comment "closes #6988138" as a reference to the not-yet-invalidated patent that Bb was using to sue their biggest competitor, but for PR they publicly promised not to sue any OSS projects.

Remembering the time @Canvas_by_Inst where we crashed @Blackboard #bbworld11 conference in Vegas at the Venetian. Booked the bar right in the same hallway as their event and held a party for their customers. One of my favorite t-shirts we gave out to their customers.

Voting is now open for the first annual knAAC Awards! Short for "Keepers and Noteworthies in AAC", the knAAC Awards are a chance to celebrate all of the great people, products and resources that exist in the world of AAC! openaac.org/knaac-awards/202…
Happy Birthday @Instructure! @Canvas_by_Inst is Sweet Sixteen and still doing its thing!

"Nothing about us without us."
Let's break down barriers and ensure that AAC user's thoughts, feelings, and input are always considered. Let's empower AAC teams to include and prioritize AAC users in every decision they make.

ALT A quote in black text on a white background says, "The AAC user must have the final decision-making authority in the team. Even if we are not able to make the final decision, our thoughts, feelings, and input must be considered. "Nothing about us without us" cannot be an empty statement; AAC teams must work to include and center AAC users in every decision." - Cole Sorensen & Donnie TC Denome Lower left corner is www dot assistiveware dot com and the social media logos with our @ AssistiveWare Lower right corner is the AssistiveWare logo
BREAKING: Canvas has a definitely legit bug in like the US probably? that says students have left the quiz page mid-quiz when they totally haven't been doing that thing. In other news, I haven't turned my sprinklers on, so it may be hard to get any forks in.
Happy Birthday yesterday to my favorite 14 year-old company, @Instructure! @CanvasLMS
Happy Birthday @Instructure! Thirteen years old and no peach fuzz. Don't let the bullies get you down, they're hiding their own insecurities. Just be your best you!
Trying and failing to find an estimate for how many people breached the barricades, how many entered the capitol building. Can anybody help me out?

The way we’ve defined monopolies, the way we view what “competition” is, and how little our government understands tech are all contributing to these issues.
In my opinion: If your payment processor can’t compete with a 3rd parties on your own platform, that’s your own fault.
This exact thing happened with CoughDrop, but it's small enough that nobody cares. Free app for 4 years (they knew we had an external subscription), suddenly our bug fixes were held hostage until I scrambled to add iap. theverge.com/2020/8/21/21396…
