This part of the interview is infuriating. Joy Ann Reid speaks with such understanding for the people who used Gaza as a reason not to vote for Kamala, but couldn’t apply that same logic to the ADOS movement advocating for reparations and a Black agenda.

We need an internal moral reckoning in the #ADOS community because 50 Cent has always been awful, but too many people giggled right along & rewarded his behavior. A community unwilling to establish moral standards, enforce boundaries, and ostracize bad actors will eventually be defined by them.

Still haven’t figured out who she is, except that she is a Black immigrant who attended boarding school & has a law degree 👀 Imagine doing all that just to gossip about weird, white streamers. This is the kind of content that leads to panic attacks & brain bleeds

So all this time, ADOS AF has had a black agenda and then been screaming from the rooftops that one should have been created prior to us creating ours. Now all of a sudden, having one makes sense; I wonder where you got that from.

🚨ALERT: The editors of the journal Men and Masculinities will no longer allow authors to refer to individuals as being "male." If an author uses the term, they should "specify which dimension(s) of sex are at issue, since sex itself refers to several only loosely correlated dimensions rather than a single underlying fact." For example, trans-identifying male swimmer Lia Thomas must be referred to as a woman, and his maleness, if mentioned at all, must be attached to specific traits, like genitals, hormones, and chromosomes. You cannot call Lia Thomas a "male" in this journal, but a woman with "male genitals" and "male sex chromosomes." The first author of this editorial—the Managing Editor of Men and Masculinities, Tristen Kade—is a woman who identifies as a man. The model of biological sex this editorial is pushing is what I refer to in my scholarly article "Why There Are Exactly Two Sexes" as the "multi-level" sex model. This model is not merely wrong—it is self-refuting. From my article: "Traits are labeled 'male-typical' or 'female-typical' only because they correlate with organisms already identified as male or female—an identification that, in anisogamous species, is made ultimately by reference to gametes." REVEALED: Minnesota employers are recruiting nurses from KENYA—with green-card sponsorship, immigration costs covered and temporary housing. Their plans include placing nurses together in rural communities. The industry association helping expand the operation has a foundation awarded $1.68 MILLION in taxpayer grants for immigrant and refugee workforce programs. Global Care Recruiters co-founder Traci Larson explained the rural strategy: “we can’t place just one Kenyan nurse way out here in Marshall, MN.” Her recommendation: “We should probably look at a few [nurses].” The groundwork included a delegation to Kenya led by Democratic state Rep. Mohamud Noor. He helped establish a Nairobi examination center so Kenyan nurses could more easily take the licensing exam required for American nursing jobs. Minnesota providers visited recruitment agencies and nursing schools. Their stated purpose included: “represent Minnesota as a state to welcome diasporan nurses warmly” Four senior-care employers subsequently established Global Care Recruiters. By September, it reported more than 60 nurses in the pipeline and over 100 candidates undergoing legal review and employer interviews. Its website tells recruits: “Global Care Recruiters covers the cost of your immigration process—there are no fees for you to pay.” No repayment required. Partner employers provide temporary housing. LeadingAge Minnesota’s business subsidiary is helping run and expand the operation. Meanwhile, the association’s foundation received the taxpayer grants to build immigrant-worker recruitment and support resources—including a 64-page employer guide, translation devices, regional job fairs and a map connecting workers and families with more than 250 support organizations. It calls this: “practical infrastructure—not simply one-time programming” The recruiter’s ambitions extend beyond nurses to nursing assistants, culinary workers, dietitians and therapists—with potential expansion into other states and source countries. Larson’s own words: “why just Kenya?”

It’s also just poor joke construction & Doja Cat is the wrong example. And if I can think of comics who execute the “dating younger” joke better than you, then you’re just not that good at jokes. Chris Rock still gets laughs from bucking his eyes & sounding funny. I can’t.

🚨 Arrested for murder. Charged with manslaughter. Home on bail in 3 days.
An ex-NYPD detective is accused of shooting a Black father dead and driving off. Koran Irvine, 46, was driving home from his job at Con Ed, where he'd worked for 20 years. Prosecutors say a near-collision turned into tailgating, then one shot through the back window of his car, fired from Victor Romero's Range Rover. Police say Romero, 62, kept driving into New Jersey and never called 911. They found him the next day at his security job and recovered three guns. The DA charged him with manslaughter instead of murder. Bail was set at $1 million, and he posted it the next day. "The idea of him being free after this charge… we think it's a travesty," Irvine's family said outside court. Romero hasn't entered a plea and hasn't been convicted. He's due back in court Tuesday. If anyone else had fired that shot, would it still be murder?
