Shell has just DOUBLED its profits to over $10 billion thanks to the Iran war. They’re drinking champagne, whilst our energy bills are set to reach their highest EVER level by January. To top it all, Shell is now brazenly demanding tax cuts.

I need to understand why it is always the least well off that are targeted to bail out the UK.
We have billionaires dodging taxes, MPs claiming outrageous expenses and covid fraud that reads like a triple Power Ball rollover.
Why not target these disgraces.

Margaret Thatcher replaced Domestic Rates with Council Tax.
Under Domestic Rates if your house was worth 100x the average you paid 100x the average.
Under Council Tax it is capped at 3x, so people in Castle's pay little more than you.
Tax the rich, bring back Domestic Rates.

🚨 New Ipsos polling finds 56% would vote to rejoin the EU and just 30% would vote to stay out.
Remove those who don’t express a choice and the result is:
🇪🇺 REJOIN: 65%
🇬🇧 STAY OUT: 35%
🚀 That’s a 30-point lead for rejoining.
73% of under-35s want to rejoin.
54% believe rejoining would improve Britain’s economy.
53% believe it would improve our national security.

The reason that everyone under 65 cannot really appreciate the magnitude both economically and socially of Thatcher's destruction, is because they weren't there before it.
They cannot appreciate how low State owned bills were and the service received.

Instead of welfare cuts, why not stop the £13,043,676 paid in MP's expenses. I'm sure this would help to balance the books. This is just for specific expenses. The total bill is £268,531,000 including staffing etc. I'm sure this could be pared down quite a bit if they tried.
