I have no connection to Campbell. He has no success at Penn state to even defend him with. I won’t be defending him against anyone saying he’s not a good coach because sadly so far he hasn’t been. I hope he turns things around but until then 🤷

Recruiting Video
The video I shared is showing the vision and unwavering commitment to a man’s principles and priorities. As a parent of a 4⭐️ recruit I want to hear that more than I to hear about football. With over 30 years of working with young athletes and preparing them for college and pro sports what has been defined by Coach Campbell of his 3 things he looks for in a recruit is the type of things that will keep recruits coming and keeps parents like myself and my wife interested in Penn State, is not the whiteout or uniforms it is the vision that makes all that happen Big shout out to Coach Campbell from the Burch’s . Parents of Asa Burch
For all the people taking this out of context, his point is in state college Pennsylvania the football program isn’t part of a bigger city you are the entire town.
NEW: Penn State head coach Matt Campbell mentions Texas and Ohio State in a message to recruits:
"This is College Football Town, USA. We are not living in Austin, Texas, or Columbus, Ohio, where you’re just part of it. We are it."

In reality it’s because our home jersey’s are blue. And for us to wear our away jersey at home we would need permission from the other team.
So I had a former Penn St player explain to me why Penn St whites out at home but doesn’t wear white jerseys to match and I still don’t quite get it … If it’s for the QB to not see his WR’s then I guess it works for defense, but wouldn’t that same logic be used against your own QB that can’t see the DB’s downfield ??? I’m just saying 😂
So we call a pass play that is 2 yards short of a first down on 3rd down and then don’t go for it on 4th?

What’s crazy is he hasn’t played a full game at Penn state yet. He could have had 300+ yards passing in every game this season at Penn state if Campbell wanted to pad his stats. Instead we get valuable experience for the backups.
Rocco Becht went over 10,000 passing yards for his career today vs. Buffalo. He becomes one of just 167 college QBs to achieve the feat.
Notable names Becht passed today on the all-time passing leaderboard include Teddy Bridgewater, Chris Weinke, and Trace McSorely.
"Honestly, I wouldn't think that I would be in this position today," Becht said afterward. "But at the end of the day, I can't do that without the receivers, the running backs, o-lines that I've had on the previous four teams. So, credit to those guys. I'm going to continue to do my job so we can continue to win games."
