If a pedestrian is in a crosswalk, it’s the responsibility of a motorist to stop and allow the pedestrian to cross
the roadway. By slowing down and paying more attention to the surroundings, all drivers in our town can make it easier and safer for pedestrians to get through.
Nice article in the NYT, mention of Complete Streets Policy I gladly helped develop. Better roadways designed for all users is great for a municipality.
