FSU Baseball just released 2027 schedule. Heard this was happening, but still hard to comprehend: No series vs. Miami. Just a single midweek game in Tampa vs. the Hurricanes. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Yes the TV rating numbers are not comparable and the CFB week is pretty bad but I loved when the quad Game 1 slate was on Friday. Still feels a bit dwarfed with it on Saturdays.

So far I have 202 full grades in, so not a full picture of the 300 (for now) slot picks, but a close snapshot of the class spread. However, when the collective class values rise, this will be why.

For context the system order is the pre-lottery order with: -SF & PIT lottery block in place -LAD, NYY, PHI 10 pick penalty applied -NYM & TOR 10 pick penalty not applied since they can win the lottery -Playoff order set by best win%

The big thing is that these rankings will change a lot! Last year 29 picks were compensated, traded, or taken away. Obviously we still have the lottery itself, and of course the player values themselves will still change, which makes following along all the more exciting!

I run an Expected Bonus model for every player I have full grades on. When the whole class is ordered, it creates an applied slot value order to the true class value. This is built off my grades, so my top player may not be your top player, but the overall shape is similar
