We managed to strongly highlight both Farage to win Clacton at 1.25 early doors and Binface to finish second at 1.2/ 77%. There’s been a lot of money traded in both markets between those prices and 1.01/99%. Looking at the circumstances of this by-election, the backdrop and ultimately the result, you have to question why those percentages/odds were ever available at any stage. There’s always opportunities, I feel, in those particular political markets at very short odds. They can tend to steamroll once the market starts moving, just like the GM mayoral market did previously.
