Real-world assets just reached a new high, and that deserves a pause. Tokenized RWAs climbed to $34.5 billion in October, up 2.92%, after touching a record $34.9 billion on October 16. Private credit drove much of the growth. It reached $5.27 billion, up 11.8% over the month. Precious metals grew to $6.46 billion, a gain of 6.15%. Tokenized equities added $4.89 billion, up 4.81%, which matters because equities are the asset class most people already understand. Now the part that deserves more attention. Average daily trading in tokenized equities fell 39.2%, from $521 million in September to $317 million in October. So the assets are arriving on-chain faster than people are willing to trade them. This is the gap I keep coming back to. Issuing an asset on a blockchain answers where it lives. It leaves open who wants to hold it, at what price, and how quickly they can get out. Although issuance infrastructure has matured fast, the market structure around it is still catching up. Liquidity depends on participants, reliable settlement and the confidence that an exit will be there when you need it. The next phase of tokenization will be decided less by how many assets we can put on-chain and more by how many of them become active markets. Put plainly, the work now is making ownership move. Follow WireFluid for more on where this goes. Source: CoinDesk Research, October 2026 Stablecoins & Tokenized Assets Report

$6.3 billion left Binance in about 20 minutes last week, the largest crypto theft on record. The blockchains processed every transfer exactly as instructed. What gave way was everything around them, starting with what Binance says may have been a single compromised engineer’s laptop. How the attack unfolded and what every team building in this space should lock down before it happens to them? Read full piece on Medium: lnkd.in/d8stEg8u

A better tomorrow should never be a privilege. It should be a possibility for everyone. No one should have to choose between basic necessities and the hope of a better future. Every opportunity created, every barrier removed, and every life empowered brings us closer to a world where dignity and possibility belong to all. On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we are reminded that meaningful change isn't built on good intentions alone, but on the actions we take today. Because a better world isn't one where only a few rise, but one where everyone has the chance to.

What makes a tokenized asset genuinely usable? Putting an asset onchain is only step one, and the real test is what happens next. → Can it be traded efficiently? → Can it unlock liquidity without being sold? → Can it serve as collateral across DeFi? → Is its value transparent and verifiable? → Can holders reliably redeem it? → Are ownership rights legally enforceable? → Can it interact with different protocols and platforms? → Are the underlying assets, risks, and fees transparent? → Can real-world income or yield reach token holders, where applicable? → Can transactions settle securely and predictably? Because tokenization alone doesn't guarantee liquidity, accessibility, or utility. A token may represent a real-world asset, but genuine usability depends on the infrastructure surrounding it. From pricing and liquidity to legal rights and settlement, every layer matters. Tokenization creates representation and Liquidity, trust, and utility create opportunity. The future of RWAs is about bringing assets onchain. and more than that it's about making them accessible, functional, and productive once they're there. And being onchain is the starting point but being usable is the real milestone.

Every L1 calls itself developer friendly these days. A simple test is whether a developer can go from nothing to a deployed contract in under ten minutes without asking anyone for help? We timed ours during the hackathon. >10 minutes. 0 errors. Check out all our live dApps: wirefluid.com/hackathon/proj…

Amidst the conversations post TOKEN2049, it's important to remember that a token is only as good as the data behind it. For real-world assets that data comes from outside the chain, such as a custodian's report or an appraisal. Oracles carry it onchain, and they are often the weakest link.

Putting an asset on-chain is the easy part. But What matters is what becomes possible once it's there. Tokenization is an opportunity to connect real-world assets with decentralized finance and expand how those assets can be used. A tokenized asset can potentially serve as collateral in lending markets, move between participants, and settle through smart contracts with greater efficiency. But tokenization alone doesn't guarantee ownership, liquidity, or security. The structure behind every token matters. Some tokens represent direct legal ownership, while others provide economic exposure to an underlying asset. The rights, protections, and risks depend on how each asset is structured. This is why we believe the conversation around RWAs needs to move beyond simply bringing assets on-chain. The real question is what can this asset do on-chain that it couldn't do before.

A developer decides whether to stay on a chain in the first hour on its testnet. Most chains give the testnet the leftovers, a faucet that works some of the time and docs written last. Here's what Pakistan's top builders had to say about our testnet.

The first real-world asset to reach mass use onchain was the dollar. @tether launched in 2014, seven years before FOBXX became the first US-registered fund recorded on a public blockchain.

Every headline this week is about tokenized stocks. @IMFNews' own chart says credit is the largest share of tokenized assets so far. It's interesting to note that the IMF puts tokenized assets at roughly $65B, against about $300T in traditional capital markets. Around 0.02%. All these headlines are still only about the first fraction of a percent.
Tokenized assets have grown rapidly, reaching roughly $65b. Yet they remain tiny compared with traditional capital markets’ $300t in assets. Our new GFSR explores the policy and market conditions needed for tokenization to scale safely: imf.org/en/blogs/articles/20…

The quantum debate is turning into a sovereignty debate. What's worth noting: It has always been the case that you need your own chain if you want to choose your own signature scheme and timeline.
We are actively considering becoming an L1. This would enable Starknet to become the first fully quantum-resistant network, with 2027 as our target.

Before you create a WireFluid Wallet account, or any wallet, always have a pen ready. The recovery phrase goes on paper. If Chrome gets reinstalled or the laptop dies, that sheet is the only way back in. We never see the phrase, so we cannot recover it.

Ever wondered how a shopkeeper earns from mobile load? The amount you pay isn’t what they earn. Their income comes from a small margin on each transaction. One load may only mean a few rupees. But when it happens dozens, even hundreds of times, those small margins begin to matter. Most of us only see one side of the transaction.
