🇮🇱⚡- Yisrael Beiteinu and Yashar have both once again ruled out forming a government with either Arab party.
gonna make a prediction: Netanyahu is going to be re-elected, the hung parliment from the exits is better for bibi then it is for Eisenkot
bibi could break up the opposition bloc by just plucking one party off it, Eisenkot would have to keep a full coalition and appease the arabs
There isnt a single map i like in the new COD
All of them are campy and just not fun plus they barely have any character to them
Peter Magyar has decreased non EU immigration (12.9% and falling) btw and nobody even noticed
this is how you deal with the immigration issue, in total shadow like invisibility while presenting as respectful bipartisan. same goes for deportations
anywho, enough about Brazil, I cared about the election as I have two good Brazilian moots on disc plus buddy has been in day by day subconsciously turning himself into a Brazilian since the world cup through a kind of weird self inflicted manifestation
cant put lipstick on a pig
this would be the case regardless of who won the election btw. if anything its the one area Lula is more realistic on then Flavio, accepting their existence on the basis that "brazillian people are just like this"
As much as this guy pisses me off, this is as apt a description as to why Brazil (the 10th largest economy in the world) still is infrastructurally third world
Brazil has repeatedly tried to clear out favelas and replace them with everything from middle-class neighborhoods to taxpayer-subsidized social housing.
What happens every single time is that the affordable housing projects morph back into favelas within a few years, and when the government moves people out entirely and relocates them to new neighborhoods, the relocation sites themselves eventually turn into favelas.
This has been going on since the late 1960s, yet every decade or so, government officials have this idea that favelas are just a product of poverty, when in reality they're a product of the people who live within them.
It's like that meme video we've all seen of a beaver still trying to build a dam in someone's hallway using stuffed animals and cardboard boxes. You can take a man out of the favelas, but you can't take the favela out of the man.
