Our understanding, comprehension, appreciation or level of faith is not the only source of our peace. In fact these may come short or faith may feel weak. The real source of our peace is knowing that God fully comprehends the value His Son’s work and has been glorified by it.

As Christians we don’t have to agree with everything Israel does. When did Amos or Jeremiah ever like what was being done? But what we do is pray for the Jews and remember “to the Hew first” and they are “beloved for the fathers sake”

The Lord Jesus told Peter he would die a martyr’s death in John 21:18-19. Another would “carry” him and strengthen him in that hour. He did not tell Peter to “carry” his Glock to kill his persecutors. This is not anti-gun post but an anti-false Christianity post.

Reading Rom 6 where the members of our body can serve sin or righteousness I think of the Dylan song: But you're gonna have to serve somebody Yes indeed, you're gonna have to serve somebody Well, it may be the Devil or it may be the Lord But you're gonna have to serve somebody

The Postmillennial view of Zech 14:4 copied from Ligonier Ministries 👇 "Clues to the symbolic nature of Zechariah 14 are found in the references to the Lord placing his feet on the Mount of Olives (v. 4) and the rivers of living water that flow to the east and to the west from Jerusalem (v. 8). Since God is spirit (Jn. 4:24), we know that He does not literally possess a physical body with physical feet. Furthermore, we have also seen that in the prophetic books, including Zechariah, rivers of living water depict new spiritual life and the final restoration of all creation metaphorically." My Note: the emphasis on the non-literalness of the understanding, it is to be understood spiritually, metaphorically etc. The statement that Jehovah “does not literally possess a physical body with physical feet.” Apparently this type of eschatology has led them to denying the incarnation!
