Yes... zero inbox... every day... Huge thanks to @TheFinanceLab for being so supportive and welcoming us as the Lab's first #jobshare!
What a great team learning session from the Lab's new programme leads @SamRexEdwards and @Kay_Polley letting us into the secrets of what makes a successful job share. 'Inbox zero' is apparently key - and now we all wish we were job-sharers! #FlexibleWorking

I’m not sure most people realize how much more tiring watching small children all day is compared to most tech jobs.

The economy is recovering, but mothers of young children still aren't returning to the workforce. Why not? Because so many schools are daycare centers still aren't really open. They're open only some hours, some days or some weeks. 🧵

I always wonder what women/esp minority women can achieve if they are given the same amount of time, space, domestic and societal support heterosexual cis men enjoy.
So I've very consciously neglected housework over the last two months while on the final stretch of writing this book and.....is this what rich people and (many) married men feel like all the time, just actual hours added back into their lives

Four times as many women left the workforce as men in September. This is a reckoning. What are you as an employer doing to retain mothers? As an employee, what do you see your company doing? I want to hear.
