Dont wanna make comments on this particular suicide in Sion hospital. The working hours are inhumane in surgery, first year is bad physically and mentally, a lot of things need to change. But every resident has complained of heavy workload, so just because he said it sometime..

Mumbai: A 28-year-old first-year postgraduate resident doctor pursuing an MD in General Surgery at Sion Hospital was found dead in his hostel bathroom on Saturday evening in a suspected suicide.
The death has led the hospital to launch an internal inquiry, as the victim had complained of heavy workload and long working hours.
