I see many kids working out like a PRO when theres no need for it right now. Hella dribbles, hella isolation stuff like your Luka or James harden at the top of the key. Aint nobody playing like that. Work on catch & shoot. Catch & drive. Catch & pass & get it back. It TRANSLATES!

This happens ALL THE TIME in our county. It’s called “puttin in that work.” Then you become “one of the best in your class.”

Some of these player evaluations are CRAZY! They take your money….you get a good evaluation from THEM….the relationship is made. Then they say….we’re trying to help kids be seen.

This man did it RIGHT! He built his program and helped MANY kids along the way. I remember having a conversation with him when he first came to Ventura. Our county will miss him for his guidance of young men and his CHARACTER. Best of luck to you Coach!

I put my son on a club/AAU team after coaching him until he was 11. I set the foundation. It wasn’t all about the basketball. I also wanted him to see the politics and how people move. There are STILL lessons being learned. #weplayhard
