WP Haver

@wphaver

I love to haver with friends about #WordPress. What's it mean to haver? To waffle, often aimlessly, or foolishly.

Unfortunately #inclusivity isn't at the core of #wordpress any longer. It seems like it's been years since the Core of WP has made any efforts to make the product #accessible despite the overall acceptance that accessibility is a cornerstone of the product.

If we want to build WordPress for the next generation, we need to be inclusive. The next generation is already demanding it. Inclusion is the future. Without it we are irrelevant.

.@heropress and @HeroPressNetwrk are absolutely inspirational, if you're not familiar with them it's worth taking a moment from your day and learn about their stories.

This is it, after many years of procrastinating I've finally been given the encouragement I need by @michelleames at #wordcampbuf to finally put a podcast in motion. If this goes off the rails, please blame her 😂
