From Southampton on 8 May 2023:
- 7 straight PL appearances scoring
- 9 goals from 9 shots, 2.92 xG
- 9 straight PL appearances with a goal or assist
- Across the wider 15-game spell: 11G + 2A from just 18 shots and 6.21 xG
In Forest’s final four games of 22/'23 alone: 6 shots, 6 goals from 1.82 xG.
Only Stan Collymore has produced a longer Premier League goal-involvement streak for Forest so far.
Taiwo's goals earned points that kept us up in 22/23, 23/24 and 25/26. His role in our survival is beyond just that first season. He can officially join Willy Boly in the unglamorous hero's hall of fame for this Premier League Forest era.
He deserved a chance to represent Forest in Europe last season. The fact a player like Lucca had that chance over T is a shame, but he had his great farewell with some key goals in the league.
