Wait am I psychic?
What are the chances the straight-to-streaming sequel to #CocaineBear will be called Meth Gator?

Favorite Shaw horror film, one of my favorite Hong Kong horror films, one of my favorite witchcraft/black magic movies… Love this one so much.

Thirty-seven years with BEGOTTEN. Its photographic body is finally complete. I know what it means to live with this film. I am only beginning to understand what it means that you have been living with it too. Thank you, @musicboxtheatre. Chicago, I am still in that room.

New video up on revisiting FIRST STRIKE in 4k thanks to the @ArrowFilmsVideo: youtu.be/qFP2AFH7SkQ This is a special one for me, as First Strike was the first Jackie Chan movie I ever saw. And it was pure joy to watch it again in such a tremendous presentation.

As with most of Coppola’s work, Dracula is exploding with ideas. The chaotic exploration of desire, sexuality, love, violence, social oppression, addiction, religion, and the divide between human and animal is so fascinating, strange, and operatic.

There’s a small part of me that thinks Gary Oldman’s performance in this film is the greatest villain performance on the silver screen

Halloween (1978) > Scream (1996) Barely. But still. Scream as a franchise is of more consistently high quality. Halloween has superior mythology. Halloween is the peak horror franchise for pure vibes.
SCREAM vs HALLOWEEN Two iconic horror franchises. Which do you prefer?
