KSBD Teamsters will not be kept down by ridiculous Orwellian word games. Wrap it in as much HR-speak as you want, taking Unpaid Time for striking amounts to withholding of benefits and attendance-related discipline—plainly illegal under the NLRA. We will hold #Amazon to account!
We are defending our right to strike at Amazon! @ieamazonworkers

It is an employer's responsibility to keep ALL workers safe on the job — especially when disasters strike like the current LA wildfires. Here in Southern California, our air quality is affected. #SafetyFirst #California #SoCal

Very often we hear about @Amazon’s latest robot in its warehouses, but the reality is Amazon relies on 1.5 million human workers. And, Amazon's warehouses with robots have higher injury rates than those without. #AmazonHurts

In 2022, Amazon’s worker injury rate was reportedly 70% higher than the rate at non-Amazon warehouses. Its serious injury rate was more than double the rate at non-Amazon warehouses. 2022 was MacDougall's last year on the job as Amazon's VP of Workplace Health and Safety.
Scooplet: Heather McDougall, former Amazon VP of health & safety is among candidates under consideration by Trump transition to lead OSHA. Under her watch Amazon faced outcry from unions and labor advocates for high injury rates & covid-19 response.

Absolutely not. Amazon executives who are responsible for the injury crisis at the corporation have no business regulating health and safety for workers in our country.

For more than a decade, workers' rights have been the center of our work, and we have made significant progress. However, with Trump returning to office, we know that the deck is even further stacked against workers fighting for change.

We are taking precautions, making plans and preparing for 2025. We know workers rights will be under attack.  Our worker relief fund supports workers who are subjected to workplace retaliation for organizing and speaking out.
