being in the hospital a ton has racked up medical bills for me and i have little to no way of funding, so i’ve opened up a kofi for some possible support (🧵)

As prominently noted over the past 48 hours, a post was put out on our account regarding our stance on Generative AI, which was subsequently deleted later that day.
This was not a shift in our stance and was simply a reaction to the post being created and released without any formal approval. At Genesis Studios, we are completely against Generative AI. All of our work, even the things you do not see, is fully authentically human-made, and we do not use Generative AI in our development processes.
As a lot of you also saw, our Social Media Lead was released after this incident. There were other reasons for it, but ultimately the final decision to release this member was not something everyone agreed upon. We are looking back at this decision and deciding whether or not this was the right call and whether the correct process was followed.
We apologise for the miscommunication and frustration; we are working to ensure this doesn't happen again. We thank you all for your support and feedback.

Real talk, don't ever be afraid to stand up for what you believe in.
When all is said & done, your life is defined by what you fight & stand for. If you lose, it don't matter as long as you get the fuck back up.
We all gotta live life with no regrets.

Hey everyone.
As of tonight, I am no longer with Genesis Studios. I'm so proud of everything the team accomplished, but we could no longer see eye to eye, and so I was removed from the studio.
I wish everyone there the success they deserve. You're all incredible. Fuck Gen AI💜
