#OWWC2026 has set a new all-time peak viewership record in World Cup history, peaking at 401,068 viewers 📈
The previous record was held by 2017's quarterfinals match between South Korea and the United States, peaking at 321,960 viewers.
It is also the second highest peak in Overwatch Esports history, only second to the 473,006 viewers set by the Seoul Dynasty and the Dallas Fuel on Week 1, Day 1 of Stage 1 in the Inaugural Season of the Overwatch League.

Valheim and Wardogs are casually mogging a lot of AAA/AA releases this year.
Valheim hit 270k concurrent players, while Wardogs just reached 400k on Steam, impressive numbers for small studios without massive AAA budgets.
Players don’t necessarily need bigger AAAA 300 million$ games, they want good games made with passion.
As blackpilled as I am about the industry, seeing smaller teams pull numbers like this is pretty damn encouraging.

A reminder I'm still always looking for work and opportunities.
This entire thing is my passion, and the last thing I want is to ever feel like I didn't do the absolute most with it.
Another year of this game I love.
I'm Hunter, and I specialize in Play by Play for Overwatch. Looking for your hype man to make those moments shine? We're hoping to make 2025 a career year!

Hello @BlizzardCSEU_EN My 10 years old account (szymondki#2422) got perma banned. I can assure I didn't do anything against the rules or abuse any bugs/game mechanics. I believe I've got mass reported by people. Support wasn't able to help. Please look further into this matter.

if you care about competitive OW, please give this a read. I put a lot of research, conversations & 2 years of experience into it. writing it isn’t the end goal.I want to work towards this too & hopefully start conversations that can take it further

If anyone cares,
I started this project in order to put a spotlight on players/teams in tier 2. A lot of this is inspired by @ObsSojourn (ofc) and what she does with tier 1 ow, I try to do with tier 2 ow. Sorry if this is poorly written, currently getting screwed by airlines…
