Hitting the limits daily on Claude’s Max plan.
Getting a 2nd sub now.
Crazy the dependency right now, all these automations 🥹
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐭… 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Deadlines were slipping. People were tired.
And nothing was really moving forward.
At the time, we blamed the tech.
Legacy code. Slow systems. Too much debt.
But when I looked closer, the problem wasn’t the code.
𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
We were in too many meetings.
Jumping between too many priorities.
Dealing with infra that kept breaking.
And worst of all - 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬.
The engineers were good! They were trying.
But the way we were working made it nearly impossible to make progress.
That was the moment it clicked for me.
I happened to be reading 𝑇𝘩𝑒 𝐸𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝐸𝑥𝑒𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 at the time, and one line hit hard:
"Time is the scarcest resource, and unless it is managed, nothing else can be managed."
It made me realize:
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩.
Since then, I’ve seen the same thing over and over:
• Syncs with no decisions
• Specs that take 3 meetings to understand
• Context-switching all day
• No space to get into flow
So now, when things feel slow, I don’t start with the code.
I look at how the team is spending their time.
What’s blocking focus. What’s missing from the system.
Most teams I’ve worked with aren’t broken.
They’re just stuck in a setup that doesn’t support them anymore.

I’m starting a short series on what I’ve seen slow teams down and how we found our way back to momentum.
Real stories. Practical stuff. Things that actually helped.
And no, no SCRUM.
Actually… trash it.

Been there too? I’m curious how you approached it. What worked? What didn’t?
I like shopping on @nextofficial, but not having the possibility to exchange clothes in different sizes is insane.
It is a basic consumer demand in online fashion, especially if you have kids. I doubt I'm the only one with this issue.

I've been playing around this morning with the new model gpt4o, announced yesterday by @OpenAI, and damn! That's fast!
Can't wait to see the results after "upgrading" our SKROL AI agents.
