Two weeks have passed since the Finale concert. Time flies. D p dn makapaniwala na andito na yun kinatatakutan ko noong araw. I remember walking to school, shooting ng ILHN, I was thinking what would happen to me if Regine decided to retire. And then, I shrugged off the question kasi ayoko ng sagot. And now, here I am, still trying to figure out paano nga ba? Nakakatawa kasi dati while she was busy accepting project after project, I was busy freeing my schedule so I could follow her and watch her shows. 😄 I made her my world, and some people even teased me, tumanda ka na lang na fan. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. At least I didn’t do drugs (siya ginawa ko, a good drug for myself), and I didn’t marry the wrong guy or gumawa ng hindi okay sa parents ko. At least yun pagiging fan ko may naidulot na kabutihan para sa akin at para sa pamilya ko. (Sige, i-dedefend ko talaga) 😄 Someone asked me what her impact was on my life. Ang sagot ko right away marami! Kasi parang marami naman talaga. Days after, I realized her biggest impact on me pala was when my father passed during the pandemic. Those were my darkest days. I don’t know what happened, but her Sunday session with Sir O helped me transition from that dark time to a lighter one. I think it was the Gospel songs she sang, the way she interpreted them, may tagos sa akin, and her encouraging words. Her life story has always been an inspiration to me. It pushes me to keep reaching for my dreams kahit minsan ayoko na lang kasi sobrang challenging and I don’t have confidence in myself na kaya ko. 😢 Pero achievement naman sa akin yun from Gen Ad lang ako nanonood dati na ngayon Platinum na with M&G tapos minsan kasama ko pa si kambal at nanay ko (ayaw ng tatay ko, sayang daw pera) 😄 Ilan tribute ba gagawin ko? Sorry naman. Hirap magmove on eh! 😩 Habang pinapanood ko yun Finale nagflashback sa akin lahat ng concerts ni Ate na napanood ko.
