Day 14-15 | #100DaysOfCode
Finally got my #libft project validated on Monday. Full score. Although I made a git mistake: I used "git add *" instead of "git add ." when I wanted to update all files in the repo. Fortunately the moulinette didn't KO me on that.
Today I kicked off #ft_printf. Digging into the use of variadic functions. Got a basic understanding on va_list (start, arg, end, etc.).
Day 11-13 | #100DaysOfCode
6 hours of dev in total on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Finally pushed my #libft project and waiting to be evaluated tomorrow.
Wednesday was a tough day. I got to school in the afternoon and had to manage some work first for about 2 hours. Then I sat down in front of my 42 project and I was like "I really want to take a nap"... I couldn't make much progress on testing and I felt really down that evening.
Day 10 | #100DaysOfCode
Around 3.5 hours at school to test #libft but only made a little progress. Asked chat gpt for help, generally it's got some pretty good explanations but sometimes its solutions just don't work.
Once again my errors are about edge case management. Also I'll have to review the use of valgrind to check memory leaks. Learned it during the piscine but now I don't remember it anymore.
Day 9 | #100DaysOfCode
3h session last night. Still testing the mandatory part of #libft. It's interesting to see how the test files are written although sometimes I don't understand the purpose of a certain test...
Day 8 | #100DaysOfCode
1h little session before going to bed. I corrected some errors and updated my makefile to include the bonus functions of #libft.
Bookmark: I need to read through this long article below and maybe comment on my code to help me understand each line.

Day 7 | #100DaysOfCode
Made a quick stop at school today despite the horrible weather and finished the bonus part of #libft. Will start testing my code tomorrow and it could take quite some time. Let's go!
Day 4-6 | #100DaysOfCode
Made minor progress on Thursday and Friday because of work. Took a break on Saturday, then had a coding session at school Sunday. In total around 5h.
Getting into linked list. Learned to add a node at different positions of a list and traversing it. Still struggle with pointers sometimes.
Next week I'll try to finish the bonus part of #libft and test my code. Cheers!
Day 3 | #100DaysOfCode
Today I attended a web3 conference: introducing @BNBCHAIN and an exchange on web3 journey with panelists from @Ledger , @LeBinanceFR etc. Then I worked on the #libft project for about 2h, finished my Makefile v1 and started to tackle the bonus section.
Some advice from the panelists (1/2):
- First start in Web2 then to Web3
- Learning C will help when getting in to Solidity
- The 42 #Tokenizer project is a nice exercise, not so easy of difficult
- Participate in hackathons
- Go fast and bootstrap with the product idea
