100% agree with this. The Braves are the only World Series winner over the last decade to be outside the top 7 in OBP. Teams in the top 3 have won 6 of last 10 World Series with Brewers leading this year. We were 24th and the last time we led MLB was 2009-10.

We can talk about the Yankees culture and lack of small ball all we want but at the end of the day the team just had no on base skills aside from 3 players(Rice, Judge, Bellinger). I bitched about all summer. Another reason I was not a fan of either the Garcia or Ramos trades!

I like the idea of the Yankees trading for Parades and Edwards. The Yankees ranked 24th in OBP this year. That should be a main focus this offseason and going from Jazz (.312) and McMahon (.297) to Edwards and Parades, who both posted a .360 OBP, would be a huge upgrade.

Damn I spelled Paredes wrong but still lol Rays Brewers Dodgers were all top 5 in OBP. Last year Toronto was 1st. ‘24 Dodgers and Yankees were 2nd and 3rd. Should be a clear goal for ‘27 imo

Trade idea Ryan Weathers for Josh Jung - both under control til 2029 - both put up 2.2 bWAR last year Weathers would’ve led Rangers SP in ERA, 2nd in FIP, K-BB% and fWAR to DeGrom. Jung’s 136 wRC+ last year (104 games) would’ve trailed only Judge and Rice. Who says no?
