Flying is atrocious now. Just drive if its within 500 miles. Even with TSA Pre and Clear you have to walk through a Star Wars cantina of people on speaker phone and Cookie Monster pjs. The lounges aren't much better. I always end up seated next to a 300 lb hambeast. Why bother?

The richest man in the world in the 1960s said the way back from $0 starts with 1 uncomfortable step. It's free, it takes no skill, and most people would rather stay broke than take it.
Aristotle Onassis said that if he ever went flat broke, he wouldn't look for a job or a loan. He would go wherever wealthy people gather, a restaurant, a club, a yacht club, and simply sit in the same room with them. No meetings, no pitching, not even a conversation. Kevin Trudeau says Onassis learned it inside a secret society.
The reason sounds strange, until you remember how Walt Disney started.
Disney was flat broke when he started telling people he was going to build a city. He couldn't even pay his rent. To anyone listening, it made no sense: a man behind on rent, describing a whole city of his own. That city became Disneyland.
That's what Onassis would have been after in those rooms. Sit long enough near people who think in big numbers, and your own idea of what's possible starts to stretch. But a big dream and a dream world are different things: one builds Disneyland, the other just makes you delusional. So the room has to be full of people who have actually made money, not people who only talk about it.
The plan was never about getting a seat at their table, only about being close enough to hear how they think.
Somewhere tonight, a broke 24-year-old is nursing a $6 coffee in a 5-star hotel lobby, listening to strangers talk about deals worth millions.
Find your lobby this week, and save this post for the day you need the push.

Fat Joe got a $10 million deal and pulled $50,000 in cash from the bank every single day.
Thirty guys in his crew got brand new white Cadillac trucks.
One morning the teller at the Chase on 161st told him there was no money left in the account.
He had done it three times. Each time the money came in the same way. The trucks, the chains, the $30,000 dinners, the private planes. Then the account hit zero and he walked out feeling like he got hit without a punch. The next day he collected from everyone who owed him and came back with $250,000.
In the video below he sits with Shannon Sharpe and walks through how the $10 million disappeared. He talks about the IRS leaving him with $49.50 after they calculated what he still owed. He says he is never safe with any amount of money because a million can vanish in a month or two when the bills keep coming.
One side says he spent it on the people around him and that is why it vanished. The other side says the pattern repeated three times because he never stopped the daily cash withdrawals long enough to see the balance.
Was pulling $50,000 every day the reason the $10 million disappeared, or was the real problem that he kept the same crew on payroll the entire time?

āI would always see this filthy rich guy. I'm talking rich, Four Seasons, Rolls-Royceā
āI asked him, I was like, āHow do you stay rich?āā
āHe said, āShaq, if you have $100, you want to save $50 but if you want to be wealthy, you play with $25 and you save $75āā
āSo after I heard him say that, I would start to get endorsement checks and not even turn them inā
āI had so much money coming in, I put a lot into annuitiesā
āNext year I get a lot, almost for the rest of my life. So 55, 60, and 65. That was my failproof, just in case the investments don't work and this and thatā
āI don't like to brag but I think at 55 I'll probably get $1,000,000 a monthā
