everyone trusts a junior dev they've never met with prod. trust an agent from another room and suddenly you're reckless i was at a wedding when looper showed the agent asking to drop a table said no from the buffet line. that's the job now

airport security pulled my bag aside. on the screen an agent was mid-refactor, 40 files deep "did you write all this yourself?" turns out "no, but i trust it" is the wrong answer at an airport

your agent bill might be double what it should be: prompt caching only matches from the very start of the prompt. put today's date or a request id at the top of your system prompt and every call is a cache miss move anything that changes to the end

Be like @poteto 😎 > Grew up in Singapore with no CS background. > Taught herself design as a teen. > Studied finance at Monash. > First program was an Excel VBA macro. > Failed a startup. > Started blogging and tweeting while learning to code. > EmberConf organizers found her tweets. > Invited her to speak in 2015. > She was a nobody in Melbourne. > Shaking through her first talk. > That one talk changed everything. > Landed at DockYard. Moved to the US. > Another talk got her into Netflix. > Built studio tools. Became a tech lead. > Then an engineering manager. > Missed building. Went back to IC work. > Open-sourced hiring-without-whiteboards. > Dan Abramov invited her to React at Meta. > Imposter syndrome. Said yes anyway. > Six years on the @reactjs team. > Sole author of the React Compiler Beta post. > Co-author of React Compiler 1.0. > Burned out. Took time off. > Started building agent tools for herself. > Joined @cursor_ai in 2026. > Taught agents to verify their own work. > That became pstack. > Cursor got acquired into @SpaceXSI. > Rebuilt Grok Bot. > Now ships 2,000–2,500 PRs a month. > Went from 31K to 200K+ followers. > @elonmusk keeps reposting her. She didn’t start with a degree or confidence. She started by writing in public. Every major job came from people finding her posts. Now she’s building Grok Bot and still on the React Compiler core team. She is truly an inspiration. ✨✨

if you have a qwen3.5 4b around, please try steering neurons L14 N8949 +1 and L13 N7956 -1 now you have evil qwen recipe: dose × median(‖resid‖ leaving layer L, tokens 1:) / ‖W_down[:, n]‖` at the down_proj at every input

If you downgrade ChatGPT from Dots-available Pro to no-Dots Plus and have a Dot enabled, it goes to sleep, but keeps sending you messages to which you can’t reply, and you can’t delete the Dot. OpenAI, this seems like a bug. PS: I still use Dots in my Enterprise account for work, but I use Muse for my personal agent, and I don’t want two personal agents because I tried that and it’s way too noisy.

half the agent pipelines i see are an org chart cosplaying as architecture. planner, reviewer, and one whose only job is summarizing the others a single agent with good tools beats that whole department. even anthropic is now telling people to fold the subagents in

Worst mass breach of privacy by a company in history. OpenAI/Anthropic: The user is banned for violating the ToS. Also OpenAI/Anthropic: PLEASE MR. PRESIDENT BAN OPEN SOURCE AI BECAUSE IT IS SO UNSAFE AND ONLY WE CAN BE TRUSTED Deepseek aura mogging...
Never seen a more flagrant and violent breach of privacy in my life, and probably never will. Doubtful that a privacy violation will ever even be able to compare to the scale of this evil and deliberate attack. Samsung should be eviscerated for this. Criminal charges please

r/opensource just banned ai projects. also anything under a year old, or with fewer than two maintainers everyone's mad about the ai rule but the second one quietly bans most of the open source i actually use

The next great "language for agents" should be: - As fast as Rust - As little design space as Go - Have the strictest type/verification system ever written Bend seems like an interesting first effort

nobody beats reddit mods being insufferable
r/opensource just banned any project that uses AI. By their own rule, that means the biggest open source project of all time, Linux, is now banned too. The kernel already accepts AI-assisted code. This is the real AI psychosis.
