Excited to work with Payward to forge a path for onchain derivatives built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure. Kraken is one of the most trusted and respected exchanges in crypto. They are also true believers in the technology and crypto ethos. We're honored that they are building on Hyperliquid to bring the next evolution of perpetual markets to the United States.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts.
HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

Replying to @junbug_sol @thru_xyz
these are very small txns so like, dozens of microseconds to low hundreds. one of our staff was testing a clob at like ~600 TPS (iirc) yesterday but that is limited by the transaction sender most likely.

Oh and that last chart, that's showing 2 concurrent block producers, submitting 15 blocks per second each with 50 txns per second.

Just under 2k TPS at 30 blocks per second on @thru_xyz Betanet which has 10 globally distributed nodes right now.
What's more impressive? When the transactions stop, the block production rate goes to 0. That is, until you wish to send a transaction again.

Thru is not a sequence
Lobby is not a sequence
Mecka was not a sequence
Study this.
this is also probably THE time to revisit unified payment networks across the world connected via blockchains/stables/tokens
the sheer number of protocols made it intractable for small teams in the past but now seems surprisingly tractable
not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.
NASDAQ nukes but dev.thru.org can save you
Most of the people who found @phantom early got here because a friend showed them the app. Now when you refer someone to Phantom, you get paid for it.
