A woman living abroad couldn’t be physically present for her traditional wedding, so she asked her sister to represent her at the ceremony.
The wedding went well, and afterwards, her sister followed the groom’s family home for the bridal welcome ceremony.
After everything, she was on the phone with her sister and her new husband, excitedly recounting how the ceremony went. They were all gushing about how beautiful everything had been.
At some point, she excused herself and went to her room.
Later that night, there was a knock on her door.
It was her sister’s husband.
He asked if she would like to have a drink with him so he could properly thank her for representing his wife and making the occasion special.

I was having sex with my ex when my mom decided to video call me.
My parents were extremely strict. In fact, they didn't even like me having male friends. So you can imagine what would happen if they found out I was dating someone.
A fateful cool night while I was supposed to be at the school hostel, I was over at my ex's place when my parents decided to video call me. If I didn't pick up, they'd get super suspicious and keep calling everyone I know 20 times. So I decided to carefully choose to sit on the edge of his bed, with a plain, white wall behind me, so my parents would think I'm still in my PG room.
