Victor Torres was diagnosed with ALS in 2025 and soon connected with the ALS Network, where he found a community of support to help him navigate his journey.
For Victor, finding connection through care has been an important part of understanding ALS and moving forward with a community that reminds him and his family that he is not alone. The ALS Network’s walks have become a meaningful way for Victor to share experiences and find strength in community.
During #HispanicHeritageMonth, we celebrate the importance of representation and the power of sharing stories that reflect the diverse experiences of the ALS community. Victor’s story is a reminder that no one should have to navigate ALS alone and that connection and community can help us feel seen and supported along the way.
“¡Nos vemos pronto!” — See you soon at one of our walks!
