So far every artist I’ve seen posting the “I charge $3 for huge illustration while this artist charges thousands” nonsense has been from russia. And it’s not even about salaries or quality of life, but the desire to drag everyone down to your level, so ingrained in their culture.

I actually enjoyed having a semi normal sleeping schedule. As normal as it can be with all the air raid alerts. But I guess I’ll have to go into full night mode again, since that’s currently the only time we have electricity for more than 3 hours at a time. That’s for now.

Okay, so I actually made cornbread! Even though my electricity went out halfway through baking, I left it in the switched-off oven for another hour, and it somehow cooked through perfectly!

Cornbread adventures continue… Turns out the Italian polenta I had at home is, in fact, literally cornmeal. Says so on the packaging, and it’s fine enough for what I need. 🫠
And nobody’s gonna do anything about it anyway. Almost five years in, they’ve finally figured out that depriving civilians of basic necessities is, in fact, a war crime. Wow, the UN at its fuckin’ finest.
3:30 am - Woken up by more ballistic missiles hitting Kyiv. So loud and horrible, my windows are trembling. Already lost count of the explosions. Will this nightmare ever end? ☹️
Cool, random ballistic attack in the evening. Already been feeling like garbage, but now with horrid explosions as the soundtrack. Don’t you just love constantly being a target of heinous terrorism while nobody gives a flying fuck about you? Yeah, me too.
