Some history, for anyone new here.
Inscriptions came to Zcash before us. The teams behind them disappeared. Indexers went dark, APIs went down, and people were left holding tokens nobody could even read anymore.
We got tired of watching bad actors do that to a community, so we built Zecscriptions and launched $ZECS as the platform token. When the community asked us to bring back the older tokens, we reindexed them from scratch.
Then we stayed. Through the quiet months, through the rough patches, through a market that had no interest in any of it. Every other team left. We didn't.
The same team went on to build @SHLDdotfun.
Zecscriptions is still live. Servers and indexer still running, and every previous ZRC-20 is still tradable: zecscriptions.com

The upgrade is built.
We are currently thoroughly testing. We're not messing around with people's funds. When we ship, it'll be ready and it'll be smooth.
The hard part is done. What's coming changes how trading works on Zcash. We've been saying it for weeks and we meant it.
Not long now.
We tried to tell everyone.
Massive red flag when a creator forgets all the people who came before and just says they're first, new protocol... The signs were all there.
And a good dev would have known PSBT isn't supported on Zcash BEFORE launching an entire platform. That's the exact reason we use a web wallet. Without it, inscriptions get burned.
ZRC-20 already exist on Zcash and they're trading on our platform today: zecscriptions.com
ZERO was first. Then we launched $ZECS as our platform token.
Happy to answer any questions, and welcome to anyone new. Inscriptions are alive and well on Zcash, and you can trade them right now.
Be careful who you trust with your ZEC.

Same person running these two accounts btw. Do what you want with this information.
ZRC-20 has been live for a year, it's all on the chain for you to verify.
I'm the first to promote and to take interest in protocol experimentation (if you remember me for spl-20 sols in 2023 or zrc-20 in 2025).
Trying to manipulate history and facts for a quick cash grab is certainly not the spirit of the inscriptions movement.

First is first.
ZERO was deployed in November 2025. $ZECS came six months ago from the @zecscriptions_ team. Both on chain, both verifiable.
Anyone claiming otherwise can go check the block themselves.

Because if follows the rules of ZEC20...
Same envelope pattern as ordinals on Bitcoin, in the input script.
Decode the scriptSig hex and you get:
ord OP_1 application/json OP_0 {"p":"zrc-20","op":"deploy","tick":"ZERO","max":"21000000","lim":"1000"}
Protocol tag, content type, then the payload. The indexer reads that envelope, sees op:deploy, and registers the ticker with its max supply and mint limit.
Pull the raw tx from any explorer and hex-to-ASCII it yourself. Here's the relevant slice:

Block 3,133,112, 13 Nov 2025.
ZRC-20s have been around for more than a year.
This account has been scamming his way through the BTC eco for way too long. I guess he saw the opportunity on Zcash and jumped on it.
Hundreds of paid shills later, a new crowd is about to realize what a grifter he is once they find out there have been multiple ZEC20 tokens before.
ZERO $ZECS

ZRC-20 has been live on Zcash for over a year.
zecscriptions.com is the longest-running platform still live today. People have been trading ZRC-20 on it for over six months, since we launched $ZECS as our platform token. Every other platform disappeared and left their users high and dry.
These are facts. They're written on chain, and nothing changes that.
Zcash inscription history.
Inscriptions have been live on $ZEC for over a year.
The first two platforms were filled with bad actors. One just disappeared. The other drained its users' wallets, and a lot of early holders lost their ZEC and ZERO.
In March 2026, in the middle of the bear market, we got tired of watching grifters do that to people. So we built zecscriptions.com, with one goal: a permanent place to trade these assets. We launched $ZECS as the platform token at the same time.
The market was rough. Bear markets are bear markets. But we kept grinding and never stopped supporting the platform, even when it was costing us real money out of pocket. We believed the Zcash ecosystem had a future.
Then we built @SHLDdotfun and started pushing at what's actually possible on this chain.
We feel vindicated. The grifters are back, but we're confident that transparency and honesty win in the end, and that we'll build something real here together.
Thank you to everyone who supported us from the start. And welcome to everyone new.
