Story time! George Mexican fans organized this amazing surprise project, they want to sing and serenade George using a Mariachi Band as a welcoming gesture. Originally, his team asked this to be done around the paddock gate but apparently it is not possible for fans to go there unlike in other countries.
George did not aware a single thing about this, that’s why he looked genuinely surprised! Happy for everyone who’s involved, such a lovely memories for both him and his fans!

"Um, Imean, I don't really know what the challenges have been from... I'm not in the team, so. Um, I do know he's had a lot, a lot of problems, a lot more or most of the problems have been on George's car this season. Um, and so I think it's been very, very challenging for him. Whereas Kimi's kind of had a much more simple, in respect to kind of issues with the car through the year. But, um, and then he's also delivered just when every single weekend. So, um, I think George had a really good pace, particularly at the beginning. Um, but it's like a couple steps forward and a couple, you know, a step back. So, I mean, I don't really know why the gap has is as big as it is. But, um, I'm sure he'll bounce back. Each weekend, he comes back and gets his best"

He has an amazing mental state for a person who's been through a lot this year. George always was and is fast and consistent driver and one unlucky year wont change that. As Lauda said: "winning is one thing, but out of loosing you always learn more". Come back stronger george!
