Genshin having a skip button is necessary since it's an open world game where you already waste time trying to explore new area to unlock new teleport waypoints and materials needed to build newer Genshin characters!

they're really only playing the game bc it's popular and not out of enjoyment lol i've never had any issues with "wasting time" exploring new area for characters bc chances are i've already explored them for the literal love of the game
