Why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on slop tokens when you could direct the same effort and tokens at good, established, distributed projects like LibreOffice, Gimp, Kdenlive, Thunderbird, etc etc My hunch is that this is pure clout chasing and they have zero interest in actually maintaining the software past its slop-formation

The developer who started the project of cloning Photoshop and other Adobe projects with AI is now going after Microsoft Office. WordCraft is here. Like other Craft projects, this one is in Rust too and this one is in Alpha too. Start is a good thing. But will we ever see the finished product?
