I’m not often on X but as I’m campaigning for @dignityindying to stop the inhumane suffering of those who want to die.
I’ve seen all sides, brother, partner, friends that suffer daily at the hands of Parkinson’s, transplant rejection and CF. It my time now
Putting a big shout out to Sara , Yomi , Mandy , Hannah , Amy , Adam and the two young paramedics that attended yesterday. For my mental health it’s back to day zero. Most frightening 24 hours in my life xoxo
Feel like crap, been bleeding all night, going from dehydrated, constipated to shitting myself. Cancelled my week away as I can’t leave the bed (hence shitty grunties.
No dignity no doubt
The most important aspect to consider has to be the patient that is suffering #YesToDignity
Sometimes that dignity is affected by our interactions with everyday life. I have exhausted myself all thanks to #SkyComplaints

View from my bed this morning. I spent all last night awake out of fear and then hit the morphine a little while ago.
Managed a lovely meal out Friday and still suffering #YesToDignity

I was lucky enough to receive a donated heart, but now it’s served me so long I have been turned down for a 2nd heart.
Why can Drs take that away yet not offer an option to die? #YesToDignity

I’ve realised just how difficult this last part of my journey is and it’s too emotionally difficult. #terminal means terminal and I barely have energy for those I love.
