We were supposed to be talking about the climate crisis but, by all means, let's do a mix of pseudoscience, fascism, and celebrity worship first. #decroissance

Okay, *NOT* actually a blue check loser - makes me puke to give money to this garbage company, but it's temporary.
The aim is to see what's going on. Every degenerate fascist troll and loudmouth karen on here has one and I'm gonna get insights into if there's even a real reason.

Lula gigante. Le ganó no solo a Bolsonaro, sino a Meta y toda la campaña de Trump en su contra.

That’s wild. It’s called strategic corruption. This is the most dangerous form of corruption: when the personal financial interests of people in power become a vehicle for advancing the strategic interests of a foreign state. At that point, corruption is no longer just about private enrichment. It becomes a threat to national security.
A wild story: the CEO of a US energy company whose plans were discussed during the Witkoff-Kushner-Putin negotiations resigns. Why? He learned that his company's main investor is a sanctioned Russian company, not the UAE

So I talked to Piers Morgan for the first time. Turns out he has *very* strong opinions about a book he has not opened let alone read.
Also, Peter Thiel was nice to him, ergo... youtube.com/watch?v=SMFQBQx-…

British Columbia's new premier may have been lucky, but its citizens will suffer.
This party of evangelical kooks, anti-vaxxers, and angry racists represents anti-social and anti-democratic values.
Your Facebook uncle who says things like "Indians are just lazy" voted for them.

The Russian drone operators call this "human safari."
“This is a park area with a working fountain. Naturally, at this time of day, it’s packed with people and children. The weather today brought everyone outside—mothers with toddlers, kids riding bikes—and the strike targeted those exact people.”
Yurii Yurchenko, chief of the Nova Vodolaha police, told in his interview to Suspilne that the Russian drone circled the park several times before coming down. It struck a tree next to a cafe, spraying shrapnel and sending a blast wave toward people relaxing nearby.
The attack killed 6 people, including children.
this isn't hard - some young men were drafted
they didn't join voluntarily
hope this helps
PS just because elon's an idiot doesn't mean you have to pretend to be one, too
What “poor Russian conscripts” is he talking about? The Russian soldiers fighting against Ukraine serve under official contracts and are paid for it. Their salaries are funded in part by the extra money Putin is receiving as a result of Trump’s recent decisions to waive some of the sanctions on Russia.
And now, something very important.
Russia pretends to be “great,” yet it is a very poor country. Its entire economy is comparable in size to that of the U.S. state of Texas. Millions of Russians live in economically depressed regions. For them, signing a contract with the Russian army is often the only realistic path to social advancement, because it lets them earn the kind of money they could only have dreamed of in their impoverished home regions.
The families of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine are perfectly satisfied. They receive sums of money that their husbands or sons could never have earned, even if they had worked for the rest of their lives.
That’s why our Russian human rights colleagues call this kind of economy a “necronomy,” meaning a “death economy.” Russia sells death. Literally.
Yes, this bloody war must be stopped. And to stop it, we must make the cost of war for Putin higher than the cost of peace.
So if Musk truly cares about the lives of Russian soldiers, America must break the Russian necronomy’s ability to fuel this bloody war. But the Trump administration has done exactly the opposite. America has begun to finance it.
I am attaching to this post just a few examples of Russian state advertising, showing the amounts in rubles for which “Russian kids” go to kill Ukrainians.
