「破壊」を創造と等価なプロセスとして捉え直す展覧会で、物理的な破壊、データの破壊、状態の破壊など、さまざまな「破壊」の作品群。
webサイトにアクセスする度にドリルで壁が削られたり、作品がパスコードを解くことで作品自体が破壊されたり、
データは一定のまま目に見える画像だけが劣化していったり…
Toshiさんの《@ toshiaki_takase: Room》は、作者のXのポストや削除フォローを来場者が解除していく（何かを"加える"アクションはできない）作品で、「自由に消していい」と言われても、ものすごく罪悪感を感じてしまうのに驚きました… SNSが自分の中の人格のひとつとして考えていることにも気づくし、自分の把握してない関係を壊してしまう怖さも。

自己破壊芸術展；オープニングでエキソニモの《Hatch/et》の破壊の瞬間を見られました。設定された数桁のパスコードを解読できた瞬間に斧で作品自身を破壊する作品。一番短いものは1分ほど、長いものは解読に15万年かかるそう。
破壊された後の止まった状態はもう作品ではないのか、それとも破壊されて状態が定まったものが作品になるのか…といったお話も面白かったです。
（そして、当日は千房さんと初めてお話させていただけて嬉しかったです！！）

今週金曜より、破壊と創造の関係を考える展覧会、「自己破壊芸術展（An Exhibition of Auto-Destructive Art）」が始まります。グスタフ・メッツガーの自己破壊芸術を情報空間において再解釈する試み。オープニングではexonemoによる自己破壊機械、「Hatch/et」の起動パフォーマンスが展開される予定！

これを最後のLast Acresにして一区切りつけようと思っています。昔マンハッタンが買われたという$24という低い価格からスタートするオークションをいろいろなプラットフォームで展開して面白かった。ネット辺境の地を売ることで、見えてきた風景。あと16時間ほどで終了です！

The work offers the web's least desirable real estate for sale. While short domain names sell for colossal amounts, like land in Manhattan, exonemo trades in the opposite: the duo registers meaningless domain names of 63 characters, the maximum length permitted, and grows an HTML wilderness generated from random strings on each one. Whoever buys a website owns both the domain and its wilderness, free to build there as they wish.
Bidding opens at $24, the sum Dutch colonial director Peter Minuit is said to have paid the Lenape for Manhattan Island in 1626.
In contrast to artists raised within today's platform economy, exonemo reflect on what was lost as the web became centralized, asking who holds its territory and what remains for those arriving next.
