#Watch | IDBI Bank employees began a two-day nationwide strike on November 1 to protest against the proposed privatisation of the lender, demanding that the Union government scrap the sale to Canada’s Fairfax Financial Holdings. More than 10,000 employees across over 2,000 branches are expected to participate in the strike on November 2 and 3. The strike comes weeks after the government approved the sale of a 60.72% stake in IDBI Bank to Fairfax, led by Canadian billionaire Prem Watsa, for about ₹53,000 crore.

The arbitrary & malafide removal of voters in this SIR by Gyanesh Kumar has a life & death impact on deleted voters. Gradually the govt is showing its hand, by saying that they will deny govt benefits to deleted voters

Yet another death on an IIT campus. This time Dhanbad. It is chilling how every month there is a death on an IIT campus-- & yet life goes on. 14th death on IIT campus this year. Meanwhile Sahil Wakode's parents are still on protest. Nothing changes, IIT system remains unmoved!

Unless there is adequate representation of SC ST OBC members in faculty, the IITs campuses will never be safe for students from these marginalized communities

He believes that people drinking water is wasteful, it belongs in data centers. He believes that people using brain is wasteful, should pay him instead. He believes that people having clean air is wasteful, it is for dumping gas from data centers. Where is that #guillotine
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

For all the idiots who think technology will solve the world problems. The issues in this world doesn't require new technical solutions, we already have the resources and tech, its the social issues that need to be resolved first, inequality needs to be addressed
IT'S NOT ABOUT THE RICH & THE POOR, IT'S ABOUT DIGNITY OF LABOUR - 21 floors. 20 kg of cemented bricks on one head. 4 modern lifts in the building, but zero allowed for the human who actually built it ! Our system still treats the real builders of this nation like second-class citizens. Progress means nothing if humanity is left behind. Shame on this system! 💔🤬

Is the total voter deletion of the Indian Voter, closer to 16.40 crores and not 13.60 crores as has been widely accepted? @ShivasundarShi1 @rajuparulekar @nit_set @ayushikar1998 @IndianExpress @the_hindu Have a look and decide: An analysis of the figures supplied alleges that SIR exclusions, combined with an estimated shortfall in the opening (base count) of the country’s electorate coupled with what seems like a deliberate failure to account adequately for new (first-time) voters, take the figure of nationwide exclusions to approximately 16 crore electors sabrangindia.in/exclusive-si…
