Underrated life advice: Have a Bad-Day Protocol. Go for a walk. Eat something clean. Hit a workout. Take a long shower. Get to bed early. Whatever. You don’t need to solve every problem when you’re at your worst. You need a few moves that stop a bad day from becoming a bad week.

My @Philips trimmer was losing charge so needed 1. Saw a @RemingtonUK on offer @TKMaxx_UK. Impulse buy. Didn’t trim well and took ages. Can’t return it for hygiene reasons. Has to be broken not crap. Tip: Read reviews. It was cheap everywhere. Need a new one now again. Budget ⬆️

Interacting with attractive women makes men stupid.
The researchers found that even a few minutes with the attractive woman was enough to make the students slower and less accurate on the test.
The more attracted they were, the worse their results.
They also studied the effects on women students of being in the company of handsome men, and found the test scores were unaffected.

For a country that spent an awful lot of time going around the world to civilise people it seems incapable of doing that for people it lets in. If their argument is that all these people are the “worst of the worst” it really reflects badly on Britain’s ability to fix them.

Customer service own goal. I started off trying to refer @virginmedia to my dad but after 2 calls I ended up switching to a different provider after 12 years. Plus cancelled @skytv as a diamond member as a result. Incredible turn of events.
