SEPTEMBER PORTFOLIO UPDATE 🚀 ALL TIME HIGHS 📈 My ISA hit £90,000 for the first time. My total port hit £133,000 for the first time. Total change this month = +£14,000 🤯 Absolutely WILD month!! Biggest month of capital appreciation I can remember - stocks at least, maybe rivalled by a crypto month years back, but this tops it for the market. Total return photos in comments of this tweet. Total portfolio and ISA both hit new all-time highs this month. The ISA move was the standout: up £10,000 with zero contributions from me (maxed my £20,000). As I've said before, my portfolio is very concentrated so huge swings are part of it. Ride the red weeks and get rewarded on weeks like these. Genuinely pleased with where things stand. Starting to wonder if the ISA can push toward £100k before year end. If we have a good Q4 then it should happen. Thesis hasn't changed: every industry is going to need chips, and chips need memory. Rather than guess which industry wins, I'd rather own the picks-and-shovels — the chip and memory companies themselves. Memory shortages appear to be present and will continue into 2028 and probably longer. Monitoring the situation. My only ETF, SMGB, has taken off after a long stretch of consolidation - good to see that patience pay off. I'll keep building out my current positions: SMGB, SK Hynix, Samsung, Sandisk and Nebius. Still holding Sivers - I think this will do well in 2027. I won't add more to it though. I have managed to deposit around £300 this month and will continue to deposit funds when I can. Hungry for that £200,000 port. This portfolio I feel has a genuine 2-3x over the next 4/5 years but also has a genuine 40% draw down potential. I’m ok with this. I’ve been through it before. I saw a good tweet the other day which sums up my port: “Put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket very carefully” - Stanley Druckenmiller October plan - Honestly not a whole lot different. I don’t plan to add or remove anything, I am really pleased with where things are at. It’s been a choppy year from me but I now feel in a good place with my holdings. I also made a new pie and out £100 in. The pie is an income pie and is a test. It holds various things like JEQP and STRC. I’m not going to add anything more to it - the aim is to see how it holds up from a NAV perspective. Any questions, let me know an always but it’s amazing to see so many people winning. Let’s inspire more people! Tom

Elon Musk says “robot RAM needs will exceed everything else on Earth” and believes superintelligence will eventually drive even more demand through deep space compute. To put that into perspective $TSLA producing 10M Optimus robots a year would require ~720 petabytes of memory at 72GB per robot. Pretty wild for $MU and $SKHY as AI expands beyond data centers although robots use LPDDR rather than HBM so this could become a much bigger volume story.

AI-financing update: Anthropic says it publicly filed for an IPO today, seeking Nasdaq ticker ANT. It's a proposed listing, not completed, with price and size still unset. CNBC reports roughly $417bn in future compute-provider payment obligations, plus $125bn-$150bn of additional ordered capacity with pricing not finalised. Those are multi-year commitments, not annual spending or cash already paid. Separately, Meta announced proposed financing of around $35bn through stock forwards and mandatory convertibles, plus plans for a separate ~$60bn share-sale programme from 2027 at the earliest. That is NOT $95bn already raised.

Now I’m not one for weird coincidences but… THE BOTTOM IS IN. I tend to be in the med at the start of Q4 and there has always been a significant moon which has always marked a top or a bottom. It’s so weird. I’m in Spain rn. Hunter's Moon, this month's full moon. It reached its exact full phase early this morning. Spooky

I see so many tweets about Space X and Tesla merging and I’ve always wondered why would they? Just because Elon owns them? Surely it’s far beneficial to remain as two entities? Discuss

Elon warns debt is drying up for AI-dependent data-centre builders. That's not the same as all AI funding disappearing. AI project-finance debt reached $106bn this year vs $37bn in 2025 (Goldman/Axios). AI also took 64% of Q3's $159bn global VC funding. Those figures predate his recent warning, and equity isn't debt. My read: financing is getting more selective. For chips, watch weaker buyers' orders and whether hyperscaler spending holds up.

Nvidia or Broadcom: which looks better value right now? $NVDA: 17.4x forward earnings • Quarterly revenue $96.2bn, up 106%, with a 75% gross margin. • Vera Rubin in full production, with next-quarter revenue guided to $108bn. $AVGO: 18.5x forward earnings • AI chip revenue $16.7bn, up 221%. • $13.7bn quarterly free cash flow across the business, equal to 46% of revenue. Those multiples look cheap to me relative to the growth, IF earnings estimates hold. Peak earnings can make a cyclical stock look cheap too. If you had to pick one, which gets your vote?

$NVDA at ~18x forward earnings. Asking for a friend: how much is a kidney worth? 😂🤣

After Elon’s $40B raise the other day, here’s another $95B towards the development of the bubble… (it isn’t)
BREAKING: Meta, $META, will raise up to $95 billion through a series of stock offerings in order to fund the development of AI. The financing plan comes just days after Meta said it would spend up to $145 billion in CapEx this year.

Huge week for AI and chips. Earnings and inflation. Wed: Fed, Microsoft & Alphabet. Thu: GDP, PCE inflation, Amazon & Intel. I'm watching cloud growth, 2027 demand and whether AI spending is turning into profit. Strong guidance could lift the trade. More capex without returns could do the opposite.

Another $40b into the ai “bubble”
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

People love to tell others that are down 15-20% over the past few weeks that they’re gambling. They aren’t. If you’re not comfortable with volatility then stay away from a concentrated portfolio. Hold broad all world ETF’s. The correct investment strategy is the one that YOU are comfortable with. Ignore the noise.
