Key part of it is him having injured his ankle last year as well plus they were being extremely physical all match. Clearly lost his temper there, will learn from it.

Ref let excessive contact go all night on Max. Getting his arm and torso pulled obviously and official sitting there with his thumb in his nose
Needlessly risky challenge. Dowman already spent 2 months on the sidelines last year because of an ankle injury, had zero issue with him reacting this way. A few inches closer and that's a high ankle sprain/fibular break waiting to happen.

I'm on record not caring about the Carabao Cup but to lose in the manner like tonight was just frankly embarrassing. Not sure if I've seen worse decision making and quality in the final 1/3 in a very long time. For example, Gyokeres has two tap-ins if basic, obvious balls are played to him. Oh well, is what it is. Onto Sunday, at least won't have to waste more fatigue on this competition like last season.

The PL officials are exactly what you think they are lmao
Ex-Premier League referee Graham Scott (@Refsplaining) has shared his verdict on whether Mikel Arteta is being unfairly targeted for his touchline antics:
I’d say Mikel Arteta is in the spotlight because Arteta has decided to make an issue of Arteta’s treatment.
Arteta is in complete control of his own behaviour on the touchline, from where he chooses to stand to how he decides to react.
He is the one employing an analyst to review footage of the Premier League’s technical areas. He did not have to reveal this.
The Premier League could stop all of this by fixing a camera on the benches and fining miscreants every time they step out of line (literally). But the league likes the pantomime and has never minded the officials being cast as villains, so a change of approach is unlikely.

Zero EQ from Lendoberg. Know your personnel
Lendoberg findin out there's a key difference between intensity and stupidity. You're barking up the wrong tree lmao
#Lakers
There are two issues for the Gunners, one solvable and the other isn't (right now).
Kane is basically playing as a midfielder and dropping very deep to receive to ping balls wide, you have to adapt to that overload.
Technical attacking levels are so poor. So much space, so many channels and it constantly results in nothing. PSG front would've put 4 past already. Levels innit.

Gunners were in complete control until Saka went down. Having to adapt on the fly now.

Saka off. I think it's muscular on the left leg after that pass (quad, hip flexor, and/or adductor most likely) but lets see. Hopefully minor but didn't look good based on his immediate reaction.

Everyone thinks it's easy to rebuild a top football club and brand until they actually have to do it. #Arsenal with Arteta and co are the outliers.
Correct. Built in breaks in other leagues
Xavi Espart is really, really impressive
#PSGBarça
If you cheated and your success is built on that cheating, everything you've done afterwards is and should be tainted by it. Miss me with all the gaslighting and nonsense lmao
This is what every single City affiliated player, coach, personnel is going to say. They can't say anything else lol
