About 1 hour and 25 minutes from a square block. I squared them all first when I usually do that as I go. . Next time I run these I'll bake all the ops in and build a fixture. I think I can get it to an hour or less.

/goal stay off x tomorrow to be productive and finish something this weekend.

You know what really grinds my gears? Me...well..not grind but you get it. Probably should have cut the big chunk out first but I wanted a useless gear shaped chunk that I can hang on my wall.

This is how you teach your tools to do a back flip. Expert level machinist.

This is the type of government waste I support. Do we have any cryptids in Michigan or did WVA get all of them?

My favorite part about my machine shop job is when I get a complicated setup ready to run and then I'm told seconds before I push the green button that we need to stop that part and do this other part with an entirely different setup and set of tools. That right there... That's my favorite thing.

>be Theo >beg to go out for a walk >change the definition of walk

Using Omarchy more and more. Still not sure it's right for my desktop (running Nobara), but on the old laptop it rocks. How is Hyprland on a large monitor? (55" Samsung Odysee Ark) Is Steam on Omarchy pretty good? I play older games when I even play games. Nobara was simple to setup for this as it's mostly preconfigured. KDE is what windows should have been all along, but I'm definitely more of a keyboard shortcut guy so Hyprland fits right there nicely. It was great finally getting rid of my windows machines this year. I may actually destroy the factory recovery partitions.

This is what we would call a patch if I was still writing code. The work done on the casting was a bit off and some of the holes would have broken through a wall.

Zek is wise. Listen to Zek. You don't even have to hit home runs. You can make a living off singles and walks.

Almost November in Michigan and no coat. Token reset is Wednesday. I can spend the tomorrow. I'm enjoying this evening with my dog.

I was just waiting for the cop to say "they're always after me lucky charms"

This didn't take long at all.

AR-15 pumpkin carving contest.

Went to the car wash in spooky mode.
