#serradella went gangbusters after sowing mid-late July in crappy low nutrient soil. I can do a #wildoat trial next year if you have any new ideas team X.

#CalciumAdvance trial in Kirwin barley (acid tolerant) in pH 4.9 (CaCl2) - looks like we are getting very useful yield responses from just 2L/ha . Grain yields not far away. It is nano CaCO3 with some Mg, Zn, B & low N. I’m surprised by the benefits we are seeing.

Highest return on investment is with just 1 L/ha of #Aquifer in #wheat. But most profit comes from 2 L/ha. Much more profitable than with #SE14 at 2 L/ha. Also notice the yield trend drops over the 2 L/ha rate for both products.

Yes, it’s a great product - have put it side by side against #Aquifer for 5 years & get independent agros get the same result - even at even half that rate & it’s much cheaper. Here’s a farmers example.

“In the year 2000, John Deere’s flagship combine was $165,000.” “Today, it’s $1.3 million.” “$12,000-a-year increase has now turned into… $125,000-a-year increase.” “If we’re looking five years out at combines that are $2.5 million, there’s not going to be very many people who can afford those… and still make a profit.” Willie Cade has spent years fighting John Deere over farmers’ right to fix their own equipment. Now, he’s warning that the corporate giant is pricing family farmers out of business faster than ever. “Back in 2019, it all of a sudden just took off.” “It’s not something that the industry could sustain.” “Getting the food from the field all the way to your table, there’s a whole lot of people [and] different organizations that need to make a profit in order to stay in business.” The scale of the crisis facing farmers is far worse than Washington will ever admit. And this story exposes the central problem driving the crisis: Corporate consolidation. Not only is John Deere’s combine priced higher than many family farmers can afford, but Cade and other advocates have spent years fighting just to secure farmers’ right to repair their own equipment after they buy it. @WillieCade7 @TeddyDowney @Capitol_Forum

Well I love the cartoon. And I applaud @RogerPielkeJr for continuing to fight the good fight. But I am so over this stuff. The climate wars and attacks on scientists that challenge the mainstream narrative continue, but may be muted during the Trump regime (I admit I have lost touch with what is going on in academia, but I suspect things haven't improved). Academia has suffered from the loss of myself, Pielke, others, not to mention the scientists that rejected the academic path or left very early on in their tenure. While I will continue to set the record straight if I am asked (e.g. such as the DOE CWG), I've pretty much removed myself from the public debate on this topic (particularly after shutting down Climate Etc), apart from sporadic tweeting. In the meantime, I am working in the private sector (Climate Forecast Applications Network) which allows me to bypass all the BS of peer reviewed journal publication, government grant applications, and generally playing the game to build academic prestige. Academics waste a colossal amount of time on that stuff. Pielke is bypassing all that with his substack, sustaining his reputation and profile in the public debate. I have taken a different path. I am bypassing all that by doing client-driven research to help companies and governments understand and manage their extreme weather and climate change risks (timescales from days to decades). I have done some path breaking work in this regard, which is to the great benefit of my clients but unknown to the broader academic community. So Michael Mann and the rest of that gang can go suck eggs, their path to irrelevance grows with every passing day. It's sad for academia and the education of the future generation of scientists. But the real action these days is in the private sector (e.g. the AI weather forecast models) and on social media. rogerpielkejr.substack.com/p…

Don’t forget that #Aquifer flows even better than their 50:50 product which is 50% water - to make it flow below 15C. Aquifer still flows at -4C while SE14 turns to cold butter at -4C.

Not to mention the price difference - can’t wait to show you all more independent yield data in 6-7 weeks. Have you ever wondered why so little yield data is shared openly? Time to make the switch.

It was awesome to see the next wheat trial (2026) with #Aquifer vs Aquifer Sustain vs SE14 being done independently at #Mindarabin yesterday. I would have money on them all lifting yield in the 300-400 kg/ha range. This is $100/ha return for a <$12/ha spend on Aquifer.

This is an interesting story - yet again another farmer tried Aquifer on troublesome soils and decided this year to just put it over everything and was surprised and delighted to see where he ran out. #Aquifer is now going on everything.
The Aquifer effect: shotgun wheat on a grey sandy loam over clay. What happens when aquifer runs out. #4farmers #aquiifer

It's time to make the switch. Stop paying more than you should to maximise your germination. Years of trials show that Aquifer is as good, if not better than our competitor. Don't be fooled into paying more - 2l/ha is all you need. Give us a call to secure you 2027 Aquifer now and get harvest terms. 08 9356 3445 or email [email protected] or contact your local distributor.
