4/ Sa’d also alleges "activists" attend encampments primarily to provoke police. Perhaps some do. But that's a claim about their motives, not an answer to the rights of people living there. A person's need for shelter doesn't disappear because someone else argues with police.

Sa’d appears to treat confrontation with police as evidence of ulterior motives, when opposing police enforcement may be precisely why the protesters are there. Those aren't the same thing. And you don't have to approve of every protest tactic to recognize the distinction.
