I just want Denny to get one more win this year
even if the championship doesn’t happened it’d be nice to go out with something, show that you tried
I wasn’t able to see how close Denny was to actually winning at Talladega until the drive home and rewatching some of the clips now it’s made that race 50x worse
truly horrific and heartbreaking
I think a lot of fans are confused as of late
most fans are upset about the guy who is 4th-5th in points clinching early
not the fact someone IS clinching early,
but SOME (not all) people take it at face value and assume it’s the latter and not the former
I feel like the entire drama around Larson clinching early being a problem is manufactured
most people are fine with drivers clinching early the issue we have isn’t that he’s clinching early it’s about the format, we might as well switch to full season if he’s gonna clinch early

It's actually laughable.
i find it odd people are trying to justify Larson’s championship this year by throwing out advanced metrics and whatever cherry picked stat helps his case
truth be told in a full season format the most legitimate format, he’d be 200 points behind and mathematically eliminated
like in the current format the chase he won this championship deservingly i won’t argue that but i don’t wanna hear people say he deserves it out right because why? someone who has what like 10 DNFs on the year, that’s not a champion to me

i meant to say this earlier but shoutout RFK for trying to make the race interesting i enjoyed watching that
to me this year is very painful obviously but in a vacuum it’s not as terrible
i think most of the pain i feel from this year is from all of this making what happened in 2025 worse
failed redemption season, if that ain’t one of the most heartbreaking sports moments
