Some days I wake up already tired of the fight. This reminds me God's mercy didn't clock out overnight; I've got a fresh start before my feet hit the floor.
So today I'm not carrying yesterday's worry into my coffee. I thank Him for one new mercy before I check my phone.

So the water minister, Penny (Niknaks) Majodina, says it will cost R400bn to fix our water supply, but we don't have the money.
This is the big fat chicken of stolen and wasted money coming home to roost.
It's estimated that at least R2 trillion has been flushed down the drain by wasted expenditure and corruption in the last ten years or so, and that's probably on the low side.
This is the consequence.
Money that should have been spent on infrastructure became Lamborghinis and G-Wagons instead. And now, when people are struggling just to get water out of their taps... DOLOLO money.

The good thing is that many of us don’t blindly follow ideologies or borrow our opinions from others. We have no problem with people practising their religion freely. But when religious practices start influencing access to public institutions, government contracts or economic opportunities in ways that disadvantage or exclude others, we will certainly speak out. Religious freedom should never come at the expense of fairness and equal access in our public institutions.
