Here is my extremely spoiler-heavy review for Digger (link below). The long and the short of it is that it is a masterpiece, albeit one which is open to many possible critiques and misinterpretations.

All three pretty obsessively. My mother owns a complete OED, and I loved using the magnifying glass to read the entries. My parents also have copies of the Micropædia, which I would pore over. And the thesaurus was just good fun :)
Stupid nostalgia-bait for teenage me
My ★★ review of Underworld: Evolution (2006) on @letterboxd: boxd.it/gYyQDb)
You do not ever need to engage with a woman who says no one should watch body horror and complains about the "video nasties."
"She’s an actress who has profited from portraying his wife as a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak"
Elizabeth Holmes is a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak.
I think Nathan Fielder did a really good job with You Can See Everything. Especially in showing how unwilling Amanda Seyfried was to acknowledge her own role in potentially harming another person. He had everyone looking at one another and questioning everyone else’s intentions, while seemingly being completely unwilling to examine their own behavior. I thought Amanda’s resistance to doing that was especially revealing
I also obviously think Billy is terrible. I think he’s cruel and exploitative. I’ve seen Elizabeth’s tweets for years and thought they were her. Finding out they’re his was jarring and sad.
But as much as I dislike Billy, I think he made a very good point. Why would he care what Amanda thinks? She’s an actress who has profited from portraying his wife as a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak to an audience that is largely voyeuristic, incredibly binary in their moral thinking, and seemingly unable to separate fiction from reality
I don’t think that Amanda needed to defend Elizabeth or excuse anything she’s done but I do think it’s bizarre how unwilling she seemed to consider that she might have contributed to another person’s suffering
A talentless, unpopular hack who loves ripping off Hong Kong pictures for an audience who doesn't know what's being lifted would of course be jealous of a Hong Kong movie star who actually broke into the West, especially before he was able to make his very bad movies.
Why would anyone follow critics on RT? Why would anyone have an account on RT? Why would anyone even look at RT?
Guardians of the Galaxy is abysmal trash, Amanda Seyfried was right to steer clear of it, and MCU broadly.
The only (mildly) annoying thing about this post is that it is obviously bad faith and doesn't really criticize the aspects of Letterboxd which are most worthy of critique.
The extent to which those things matter is sort of negligible (insofar as they are not at all unique to Letterboxd). You could also criticize it for being beholden to industry whims (ie locking reviews on certain films to pander to corporations).
