52 years ago today on October 21,1974 Radio City (Liverpool) opened, the first UK 24-hour station outside London. I debuted that opening week, covering non-league football, becoming its politics editor in the 1980s before moving to Westminster for 34 years. A brilliant grounding.

As some have asked to hear for themselves, here’s one of the current restored optical soundtracks vs an unrestored magnetic source. I’ve not said which is which. You can decide.

Things unseen online - that TTTV Sport logo beautifully seen behind Duncan Wood in 1994 had an ident (like TTTV Weather of the era which is online); started like the usual sliver TTTV animation but then changed to TTTV Sport. It was commercially released on a TTTV NUFC VHS.

The great cold food rip off from @McDonaldsUK & @ubereats_uk be warned, its very difficult to get any answers & apparently food that turns up not even warm-absolutely cold is acceptable within the policy, which suits only UberEats by delivering to more than one person at once.

And the other 'support' they both suggest speaking to gives you this, even when you've provided the delivery driver text messages showing he was outside fannying about for eight minutes without the stuff being in a thermal bag.

To be honest, a refund isn't top priority. I want to know what Policy allows things to be acceptable to be delivered cold.
