Good point. The things most young people complain about the most when criticizing capitalism are health, education, and housing are some of the most government regulated and subsidized areas of the economy.

This is the level of education of most socialists, unfortunately. She is on her profile calling for revolution and does not even understand that the UK and Sweden are capitalist countries which fund their social welfare program through capitalism.
@stratmandave so how do you feel about the party that you vote for voting in all of the Democrat socialists? The DSA is announcing their platform. They want to abolish the Senate. They want to get rid of the Supreme Court and the presidency and have both simply appointed by the legislative branch, which, of course they would control (if they can do this they would control it). They want to defund the dept of war. (Ie no budget for the military). Amnesty for all illegal immigrants with no border control/ice.
While not officially putting it on their platform several who have won the recent congressional election primaries have stated they want to abolish the police and close all prisons.

Not that anyone asked or will even probably read this, but my thoughts on the war with Iran. If I was Iran, I would absolutely immediately open the strait of Hormuz and agreed to no nuclear weapons whatsoever. Here’s the thing… Trump has two more years in office essentially. There’s a decent chance that given American politics, a Democrat would win the presidency next and everybody in the world knows that if I ran, decided to break the deal and start developing nuclear weapons they would not do anything whatsoever. If I ran where to make a deal with Trump now they would be able to start to rebuild their infrastructure and country economically, knowing that eventually Democrats will be in power and they can start doing exactly what they’ve been doing in the past.#IranWar
So just to be clear. The person I’m talking with refuses to say it would be wrong for a mother who just gave birth to a baby to kill that baby.
They also admitted that if a baby is viable, which means it could survive outside the womb without any issues and is healthy it’s still OK to literally tear the baby apart limb from limb, causing extreme pain as long as the mom wanted to do so

When you openly admit you’re good with killing healthy viable babies for no medical reason and then can’t even say it would be wrong to kill a newborn baby if you didn’t want the baby you are literally mentally ill.
