This is a caricature of conservatism. Get to know some of us. We are much more reasonable than you think. Talk to those of us in the commonsensical middle. We need each other in the fight against the gender identity extremists. Even if we don’t agree on everything else.

Van Gogh painted this in one of the happiest moments of his life, for a friend he couldn’t wait to welcome home, and he had no idea what was coming... In the summer of 1888 Vincent was living alone in a small yellow house in Arles, in the south of France, and he had a dream: to turn it into a home for artists, a place where painters could live and work together. The first to come would be his friend Paul Gauguin, and Vincent wanted the room waiting for him to be beautiful. So he decided to fill it with flowers. As he wrote to his brother Theo: “Nothing but large sunflowers.” He painted as fast as he could, racing against the summer, because sunflowers wilt within days. By the end of August he had finished four canvases, bright yellow blooms in a simple vase, some fresh and open, some already drooping and going to seed. Gauguin finally arrived in October, saw them on the walls, and loved them. But that happiness didn’t last: two strong, difficult men under one roof began to clash, and just before Christmas, after a bitter argument, Vincent suffered the breakdown in which he cut off part of his ear. Gauguin left Arles and never came back. The dream of the yellow house was over after just nine weeks... Despite everything, Vincent never stopped loving those flowers, and in the weeks after his breakdown, he painted the sunflowers again, copying his own pictures, as if he were trying to hold on to that summer when everything still seemed possible. Some painters, he told Theo, were known for their peonies or their hollyhocks, “but I have the sunflower, in a way.” And he described what they meant to him in a few simple words: they were his way of “symbolizing gratitude.”

It’s good that the Greenies tipped their hand so that we can see their murderous impulses.
‼️INSANE -- Meet Emily Lowan, Leader of the BC Green Party she won her seat last night. In a manic, emotional, victory speech she said her party is the only one "EQUIPPED to stand against Conservatives and their EXISTENCE" They want to genocide us. They are telling us on LIVE TV. EVERYONE CLAPS. These people are psychos.

It’s good that Robert Reich is no longer trying to hide the fact that he is a socialist/Communist.
Elon Musk called for Robert Reich to be jailed on Sunday after Reich called to seize Musk’s property. Musk is right. Reich said Democrats should start laying the groundwork to nationalize Starlink and SpaceX and turn them into a public corporation if they take the House or Senate. Musk responded: “Stealing companies is a serious crime. Prison for Reich.” More Democrats are openly embracing communism now, and it needs to be legally responded to seriously. Anyone promoting communism and the taking of private property from law-abiding citizens as a penalty for success should be jailed or lose their citizenship. Reich is a former U.S. Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, a longtime Berkeley professor, and a frequent MSNBC commentator who has spent decades pushing higher taxes and expanded government control. He framed the nationalization call as a response to Musk supporting Trump and cutting into USAID spending. He also called for canceling federal contracts with Musk’s companies, breaking them up, and applying a wealth tax. That’s not regulation. That’s confiscation of private property because Musk backed the candidate Reich doesn’t like. The same government that needed SpaceX to bring astronauts home is now being told to take the company. Reich has pushed this kind of economic intervention for years. This is the same playbook, just said out loud. Nationalizing private companies because of political disagreement is the core of how socialist and communist systems operate. They start with “public good” language, then move the assets under government control. Once the state owns the means of production in a sector, the owner loses the company and the public loses the competition that built it. Reich is treating Musk’s success as the problem and state ownership as the solution. Calling for the government to seize private companies over political disagreement is an attack on the right to own what you build. Democrats used to at least pretend they supported private enterprise with rules around it. Reich is dropping the pretense. If taking Starlink and SpaceX is on the table for a midterm majority, every business owner who crosses them should expect the same treatment. That isn’t policy. It’s a direct threat to private ownership. Anyone who openly calls for seizing private companies over politics is an enemy of the country and should be legally treated as one.

Imagine the amount of division that is being caused by Islam in the United States when the Muslim population is at 1%. What do you think will happen when it is at 5%? 10%?

We cannot survive as a nation if we cede debates and spaces to what is a clearly dangerous and mentally ill faction of the left. We must be brave enough to confront them head on and stand our ground. No more.

Outstanding stuff from the new Premier of BC. Eliminate and salt the earth where all of these social justice/gender/striped flag nonsense programs once were. There’s no need for this. Force teachers to actually teach, not preach.

Surprisingly fired up. Bravo, Jason.
Last night I had the pleasure of attending Calgary Opera's magnificent production of Tosca. The performance was interrupted by a Hamas supporter screaming hate messages from the audience. Evil hates beauty. Supporters of a violent death cult committed to the mass murder of Jews, and the imposition of an Islamist theocracy, are of course blind to the beauty of Puccini's music. Why would they have any regard for the hundreds of brilliant musicians and others who spent thousands of hours preparing to stage such a sublime expression of one of the highest forms of art? Of course, they have no compunction about disrupting a crowd of 2400 people who have gathered to be inspired by that beauty. For the Hamas supporters, and their fellow travellers on the far left, their wicked end justifies any means. In a movement where mass rape, killing and kidnapping of innocent civilians is glorified, they don't think twice about marring or destroying great cultural achievements. Think of the violent mobs in France last week, vandalizing and burning to the ground beautiful symbols of French culture and history, while waving their Palestinian flags as a symbol of destructive violence. There is not an Islamist society on Earth that would permit Tosca to be staged. Most of the greatest achievements and art forms of western culture are considered haram by the dark doctrine of Hamas. So it's perversely fitting that they would disrupt such a performance. We should take them seriously when they show us who they are. And we should remember the aphorism attributed to Prince Myshkin in Doestoevsky's The Idiot: "the world will be saved by beauty."

She’s not wrong.
Woman who grew up near Dearborn Michigan and saw the Muslim takeover first hand says we have to put a stop the Muslim takeover right now “I grew up right outside of Dearborn, 10 minutes from Dearborn, and I have seen a lot — I am telling you guys that this is how it starts. These Muslims move into one area, they take over, and they start running for public office. They literally buy up the houses in that area and will not sell them to anybody besides Muslims. Why do you think they want these big Islam communities with schools and everything else? They were just trying to build one right by my house that got turned down a couple months ago. This is extremely serious. And if Americans don't start standing up and saying, no, we're not allowing this, I am telling you, our children are going to have to deal with this. My daughter is 6 years old. She is going to have to deal with this if we do not put a stop to what's going on right now in America. They are not here to assimilate. They are not here to be our friends. They are not here for anything other than to take over and implement Sharia law. That is the end goal. That is the end goal.” “There is nothing more serious right now than what is going on with the Muslims coming in and taking over and running for public office. It is literally impossible for a Muslim to govern Christian Americans. Islam goes against our Constitution completely. Notice the only thing they ever talk about when it comes to the Constitution is freedom of religion — They want to be able to go out in the streets with their prayer rugs, put them down in the middle of our streets, and pray to Allah. They want the call to prayer, the Muslim call to prayer, to go out 5 times a day throughout all these cities. They want it in our faces at all times.” This has to stop. We need mass deportations, it’s our only answer. Remember, Dearborn mayor Abdullah Hammoud is literary on camera inside a mosque rallying Muslim voters for the goal of making every elected position Muslims This is extremely serious

Hmm.
Customer: "No veal, thanks. I know what happens to the calves." Butcher: "So do I. Which bit do you know?" Customer: "Crates. Taken off the mother, kept in the dark, can't turn round." Butcher: "Banned here in 1990. This one had straw, a shed, and other calves to annoy for eight months. Rose veal, we call it. Pink, not white." Customer: "It's still a baby cow." Butcher: "It's a dairy bull calf. Where do you think they went before people bought veal?" Customer: "Reared for beef?" Butcher: "A Holstein bull doesn't make beef worth the feed. For years the answer was a bolt in the head at a day old. Tens of thousands a year, in this country, shot in the pen because nobody would eat them. The industry only promised to stop that a couple of years ago." Customer: "That's horrific." Butcher: "That's the price of a latte. Every pint of milk needs a cow in calf every year, and half the calves are boys." Customer: "So eating the veal..." Butcher: "Gives him eight months in a shed instead of eight minutes. The customer who won't touch veal and buys a flat white has made a choice. She just didn't get told what it was." Customer: "I'll take a kilo." Butcher: "Good. And the next person who tells you veal is cruel, ask them what they take in their coffee."

The lack of fear in the few revealed that the left here is nothing but a paper tiger. They’re all paper tigers. After all, an activist is nothing but empty slogans and the white guilt racist charge.
Epic moment. France: 5 patriots vs 100 Antifa and immigrants who burn and destroy everything. They did not back down an inch —they fought like lions. Then the police intervene to defend them. This is France waking up. They are heroes.

Impressive speaker. He should run for office.
🚨 WOW! Metro Detroit native and longtime autoworker Brian Pannebecker just got FIRED UP on stage with President Trump — calling on all Michigan voters to VOTE RED ASAP IN DROVES "I'm gonna say ONE THING about Abdulrahman Mohamed El Sayed — as a [retired] autoworker...we spent the past 5 DECADES negotiating for [my healthcare]. El Sayed wants to BAN IT AND MAKE IT ILLEGAL, and put everyone on GOVERNMENT-RUN healthcare like CANADA!" "You step outside, look across the river, you see Canada. THEY COME OVER HERE to get emergency procedures done because government-run healthcare SUCKS!!" 🔥 "[Trump] is the General, we're the soldiers...if you don't vote, you might as well be voting for a Democrat!" 💯 "YOU GOT A JOB TO DO...PATRIOTS." Just days ago, Abdul admitted on air that under his Medicare for All scheme, "Government becomes the insurer...because we're the only one paying" That's wiping out the private union health plans Auto Workers spent years fighting for like he said! Statewide early in-person voting is OPEN right now across Michigan. GO VOTE!! Every single Michigan patriot needs to bank their vote early and send Mike Rogers to the Senate 🇺🇸

This is correct. Everyone who voted for me should remember that you actually still can impact the LA Mayor outcome. Not by voting for Bass in some cynical gambit, but by getting Steve Hilton in as governor to keep a lid on how crazy Nithya gets and intervene on her failures.
Voting Karen Bass is morally unacceptable. She has been a complete disaster. There must be accountability. You cannot reward her with your vote. Yes, Nithya Raman is a DSA extremist. But she would be no worse than Bass. Do not vote for either. Los Angeles: I am your only hope.

The current condition of Canada…
For people in the comments who don't understand the current dynamics of journalism. I broke the story of Ewert's return to jail on Friday-a full day before CBC confirmed that he was back in jail. My posts alone about Ewert across social media platforms had over 875,000 views. As one indie reporter. It's 2026-independent journalists ARE the news. There is still some confusion in the comments about why a geriatric violent offender was admitted into McGill Law School and whether or not Ewert had served his time. Ewert is serving a life sentence. He was sentenced back when Canada still operated under the rule of law. Ewert was, therefore, only released on day parole due to an activist judge who overturned the parole board's ruling that he was too dangerous to release. The parole board did their job in attempting to keep him in jail. A liberal-appointed activist judge overturned their decision, citing Gladue in her ruling. Due to many parole condition violations, her idiotic decision to grant him parole has now been suspended, at least for the time-being. To my knowledge, he can still appeal again in the future. Criminal background checks are not typically part of Canadian universities’ admissions processes. It's unclear at what point McGill knew Ewert was a violent convicted criminal because they cite privacy concerns as to why they won't offer a fulsome accounting of what happened. However, Ewert's lawyer Nora Demnati had stated that McGill was, "Fully aware of his history and his status." His lawyer elaborated that his going to law school was a well-established plan that was discussed with relevant parties as part of his rehabilitation plan. Students were not informed of his record by the university (again, privacy constraints were cited.) Some of the students responded with a petition to have him reinstated in class. Other students responded with a petition against his return to class. Background checks are typical for regulated professions. The law society has a "good character" requirement for licensing, but regulatory regimes are ideologically-captured, so it's impossible to know whether or not the law society would have excluded him or welcomed the opportunity for "Restorative justice." I am highly sceptical as to what Ewert's LSAT scores and pre-university grades were like. Law school is highly competitive and giving a place to an undeserving convicted violent criminal who would already be passed retirement age once he began to practise (if he even finished and passed the bar), means that a young, deserving person missed out on a lifetime opportunity. It is, of course, absolutely ridiculous and wrong that the Canadian taxpayer, who subsidizes tuition costs for law students, would have to contribute even one red cent to the educational costs of a geriatric who is a convicted child rapist and torturer, as well as a convicted killer. But this is where we are at in Canada, thanks to ideological capture of our institutions and no political will to overturn previous terrible decisions by the Liberals.

There is a queue at six in the morning outside a barbecue restaurant in Austin, Texas, that runs for five hours, and the people in it are waiting for a brisket with the fat left on, cooked for eighteen hours over oak by a man who has said the fat is the whole point. Aaron Franklin opened in a trailer in 2009 and has been named the best barbecue in America by everyone who hands out that title. The food is Texas, which means beef, and the beef is the brisket: the whole chest muscle of a steer, twelve to fifteen pounds, with a cap of white fat an inch thick across the top, which most of the country would trim off and throw away. Franklin trims it to a quarter inch and leaves it, and as the brisket sits in the smoke the fat renders down through the meat for most of a day, until the lean is soaked and the cap is a soft dark bark. He has written that the fat is what carries the smoke and the salt, and that a lean brisket is a waste of a cow. He went on television in a cap and a T-shirt and taught the technique to a nation that had been told for forty years to buy the lean cut, and the nation drove to Austin. People fly in. They bring chairs. They sell out by one in the afternoon, every day, and he has never once sold a turkey breast as a substitute. The thing on the chopping block, sliced thick, glistening, with the fat the colour of amber and the crust black, is the oldest food in Texas: a cheap tough cut of the animal, made glorious by heat and time and nothing else. There is white bread on the side and a pickle, and that is the meal. The leaflet says to trim the visible fat. Five hundred people a day stand in the Texas sun for the man who ignores it.

If you’re looking for evidence of the decline of the West, look no further than here.
An oldie but a goodie. In 1968 a bunch of entitled hippy bastards sent a letter detailing their specious demands to the Warden and Fellows of Wadham College, Oxford. This was their letter of reply, which speaks to how far the academy has since fallen.
