The Cowboys locker room-gate is nothing. Sometimes players are not around to chat. In this case, a meeting ended earlier than expected and played bolted for home before PR could get with everyone. In my 17 years on the beat I’ve seen some empty locker rooms the day after losses. I’ve also been yelled at by some players or gotten some dirty looks. Part of the business.
Have a good night.

Just give me pederson. I’ve always thought he was better than what he’s gotten credit for.
Or bring me Steichen

The Cowboys had a player development meeting that got out before media was brought down to the locker room. Media relations said we should’ve been brought down earlier than we were

It will 100% be a market overcorrection towards experience. The question is whether Dak will be allowed to voice his opinion on the experienced hands who walk in or if it'll be a "This is the guy, roll with it" decision like McCarthy was. You'd presume he's going to want input.

Five losses into a dismal 2026 season, #DallasCowboys' Brian Schottenheimer continues to shoulder the blame. His recurring postgame apologies are no longer just humble accountability—they are admissions of failure.

#Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Sunday's embarrassing loss "starts with me; I have to be better."
We've heard that one before, but how many more times will he get the chance to say it?

Our guy @MichaelIrvin on Schotty's #Cowboys - 'My dead mom could coach 'em better.'
Brian Schottenheimer keeps telling Jerry Jones the Cowboys’ problems start with him.
After five losses, including Sunday’s collapse, “accountability” may be the most damning piece of evidence against the coach:

Or, let's do 5-hr pressers and single out 70 people. As a practical matter, 'firing the coach' is discussed when team goes sour. 'Firing the linemen' or 'Firing the janitors' ain't it.
Every single #Cowboys fan is wondering about coach's future. It's a valid question.

I truly have no clue if Adams has what it takes or what internal thinking of him is. However we know the head coach right now is not it, and seeing what we have in Adams at least gives us a chance to see since we have invested time in him already

A 14-point lead. Five sacks. Two takeaways. A missed Cardinals extra point.
And the Cowboys STILL found a way to lose.
Dallas' 33-30 OT collapse raises serious questions about Brian Schottenheimer and the direction of this team.

It makes me uncomfortable to call for people to be fired. I recognize that is a part of this world, obviously.
I also know people share this sentiment... I have no idea what keeping Brian around does for the Dallas Cowboys right now.
How could anyone be inspired by anything he has to say right now?
He has broken something beyond recognition and visibility.
Keeping him around only allows opportunity for it to spread further and become more difficult to eradicate in the future.
